After about 10yrs away I've been getting back into GPL again and have been working on my times for the past few months. I'd like to venture racing online again but neither WinVROC or IGOR seem to show much when I check them. Has the party moved elsewhere?.. `(or is there simply no party anymore?). If all I'm missing is is a current configuration guide for IGOR or something similar I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

To get the iGOR racelist back on your system you just need to do this:


Browse to
\Program Files\GPLSecrets\iGOR and edit the iGOR.ini file.

Change the old IP = gplrank.info to:

[ RaceListServers ]
IP = blw.net

[Bob Simpson]

The entry in GPLSecrets\VROC\WinVROC\vroc.ini should be
address=racelist.vroc.net

Right now I see 7 races on iGOR and only 1 race on VROC.

You'll find that by far most races are listed on the newer iGOR.

These days pickup races are not so common so I would suggest joining a league.

Most leagues still get good grids despite GPL being almost 20 years old.
