Hey everyone, I decided to create a GPL group on Steam since it is a platform a lot of people use, and it didn't have a GPL presence. If Richard Burns gets a group, so does GPL!

I tried adding some information and links to websites (this forum included). I don't expect many here to have Steam, but if you do, then by all means do check it out and possibly join!

Every bit helps.
Grand Prix Legends has been a stable staple for 18+ years.
Perhaps change "was" to "is"?
Good idea to do this.
One problem I am having tho...
Could not find the page by starting at Steam homepage or searching several times.
All that showed up in searches was Grand Theft Auto, Project Cars, and Assetto Corsa?

Good touch on going from "was" to "is" . I edited it.
Steam search is very, very, very unfriendly. When I run a search, I get a mix of results which feel like Google Ads, where big games that sometimes share no words in the search come up first, then followwed by a mix of actual groups and other games. I do see the group on the first page, but you gotta scroll down .

Frankly..............I hate Steam. I'd rather have a root canal than use it.

I get the same issue as John Woods.
When signing in my steam and searching, there is no feed to gpl.
If I go through the link provided here,it asks me for the new browser code,to join and access?

That means that there is no cookie for Steam so it treats every login attempt as a possible security issue. You should get an e-mail with the code you need to submit on the little pop-up window, and then name that device/browser (I just call it chrome).
If you search for Grand Prix Legends, it should come up on the first page. Also, it is possible to set GPL (any game) to be launched via Steam. There's no real benefit of course, other than just using one interface for everything, but all your contacts will see "SoandSo is now playing Grand Prix Legends."

Okay 👌 thanks.
Will look into it.
Would rather get to the gpl content page when I sign into Steam, rather than submitting another code.

@twinpotter: I'm not sure how to set the Steam homepage when you launch it. I went to Settings > Interface > Favorite Window, and I don't even see a Groups page as option. I honestly would not have Steam if I could and wish it wasn't the mammoth service it is today, but since there's no getting away from it, at least there's a little corner for GPL and other Papyrus gems.
