I was a little foolhardy in letting the HD get full - GEM then tried to recompile the exes to launch iGOR/Vroc. It was unable to do this and left GPL.exe at 64kb, along with the first exe it tried to rebuild - gplfv.exe, incomplete. Debug file was written by GEM.

Trying to fix it.. I replaced gpl.exe with a GPL 2004 demo exe, and was unable to join EOLC on Saturday, as I activated the bandwidth patch too late.

Replaced this one with a French gpl.exe from JFB, after missing LBGPL on Monday, with the issue of GPL now being stuck in its state prior to all this^ i.e. in 60fps, despite it being unticked in GEM. Raced an F2 Clandestines race after that, and it worked in 36fps with this exe.

I then realised that I could have used my old XP install exe instead (which I was using until installing win 7 and porting the folder over - the demo exe was a test install on win 7). This one was the same as the win 7 one, except for a recently applied fix of patch install order to get 66 mod working with 60fpsv2newmod. Same problem as demo exe, but at least pribluda etc. are working now like with the French language version gpl.exe.

So, still the same problem as before.. I raced last night with the French gpl.exe in Clandestines 67s (36 fps). Tried JR's US exe, but still the problem persists, even after deleting GPLc67.exe and letting GEM rebuild it fresh.

Do I need to delete some other GEM files from the incomplete rebuild? A problem now might be that I've overwritten the original debug from the point that this started occurring..
