Wow ... after all this time, I finally had the time to finish installing the magnum opus ... that is the G. Spinning historical carset for all championship tracks Wow! What an amazing experience driving the cars at the different tracks ... really adds to the 'immersion effect'. Off to Monza now ... thank you very much G.!

I installed a gem and when I go to carsets its empty what do I do
If you have the Mod installed correctly you should be able to find the carset by selecting "carsets" (labeled 1 here for demonstration).
Once selected look in the inactive carset roster for GPLH67(GPL67) and move it to the active carset window (labeled 2). Now
you need to select the correct car folder for the track you want to use. In this case it's carset 12-CAN (labeled 3) for the 1967 Canadian GP
held at Mosport.

1. Irwin's Lotus 25 needs to be modeled for the 03-NED carset.
2. Courage's BRM P261 (needs to be started) and Hobbs's BRM P261 2L V8 (needs to be modeled) will be in this folder called "drvc67 Courage and Hobbs" and Anderson's Brabham BT11 and Bonnier's Cooper T81 will be in this folder called "drvc67 Anderson and Bonnier (Default drivers)", but Courage's BRM P261 and Hobbs's BRM P261 2L V8 will be in the "brm" folder for the 06-GBR carset.
3. Hahne's Lola T100-BMW also needs to be modeled for the 07-GER carset, but it will be modeled in the "brabham" folder.
4. Fisher's Lotus 33-BRM V8 and Hobbs's BRM P261-V8 need to be modeled for the 08-CAN carset.
5. Fisher's Lotus BRM V8 needs to be modeled for the 11-MEX carset.
6. Irwin's Lotus 25 will be added into the drvc67.ini in the "zandvort" track directory folder.
7. Courage's BRM P261 and Hobbs's BRM P261 2L V8 will be added into the drvc67.ini in the "silver" track directory folder if the drvc67.ini is in the "drvc67 Courage and Hobbs" folder.
8. Hahne's Lola T100-BMW will be added into the drvc67.ini in the "nurburg" track directory folder.
9. Fisher's Lotus 33-BRM V8 and Hobbs's BRM P261-V8 will be added into the drvc67.ini in the "mosport" track directory folder.
10. Fisher's Lotus BRM V8 will be added into the drvc67.ini in the "mexico" track directory folder.
Can we do this?

Been away for a long time from GPL. When I left, I still wasn't able to install this mod and get it working. The hard drive on my new system crashed, so I had to revert to my old one. You'd think an HD crash to be a bad thing, but two good things happened from it. I discovered GPL was still on my old system, and I came back here to see if anything further had happened with this mod while I was gone, only to find the solution to my problem was on the first page of this thread. Now it works like a charm. It is an absolutely awesome mod. Thanks to all who worked on it.

As many have already said, the dream became true. The content of these initial 11 carsets has been incorporated and upgraded in V2 of the 1967 F1 Historical Mod, with more car slots and improved physics covering the entire 1967 F1 season. See you All there https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...showtopic=11180
