In the next days, exactly one year after my first historical carset of Spa, I will release one by one in chronological order, updated complete historical carsets for the 11 Grand Prix of the 1967 F1 World Championship, forming the Historical GPLH67 (mini) mod.
Thanks to Bernd Nowak, they are all provided with an installer, which automatically places each carset, drvc67, layout, etc. in the right folders of your Grand Prix Legends (c67) installation and creates the new gplh67.exe. Only at the first installation this needs to be activated following the simple steps which are here described in the attached guide.
For those who have already installed _v1 of the carsets, I recommend to delete or disregard what you already have and follow _v2 only. Each carset of _v2 is complete and autonomous; you may install all or only some. Each has been reviewed and updated as needed and containes only the files necessary for racing against the AI drivers at that event. Among the updates included in _v2, you will find the BRMs with covered engines, the early version of the Lotus 49 with a more closed cockpit, Jacky Ickx with his F2 Matra in the Nurburgring entry list, and many new details.
For the new comers I remember that GPLH67 Historical mod, is based on the seven car physics of the original Grand Prix Legends, but is also limited by the seven car slots available. It is formed by specific graphical carsets to be selected only from the GEM+ main menu to race on the eleven world championship specific tracks with defined entry lists. The historical carsets include specific HiRez car skins with the numbers and details used at any other race, specific mechanical parts, drivers faces, helmets and gears, new carcams and all needed textures to match colours and historical fidelity. Because of the mentioned seven car slots limit, not at every event it was possible to include all available modelled cars in the race entry list. Nevertheless a remarkable average of 90% of realistic entry list has been achieved.
I have produced these carsets editing original Grand Prix Legends's modder files, to whom goes most of the merit, working together with Irridux and Silence who I thanks for the admirable contributions they made available and for sharing the same aim of delivering the most accurate and hisorically faithful possible F1 carsets for Grand Prix Legends 1967. A special thanks to Bernd Nowak to have kindly created the installers for them, to Arturo Pereira who has created a specific Historical GPL67 mod main menu and to the moderators of this forum for the attention given to my works.
Unless diferently advised I will start to attach the first carset 01-SAF, from next post. Therefore I would kindly ask NOT to reply to this topic until I will have completed my uploading with the last carset. In this way only this topic could be pinned and replace the previous ones. If you have comments please temporary post under another existing topic or create a new one.
Good historical racing!

EDIT:
For those who can only run at Kyalami and without all the car numbers and CTD at the other tracks, the problem is that they do not have a 'gpla67.ini' file in their main gpl folder.
The cause of this is that they have not applied the 67 patch. So to fix apply the 67 patch ( found here : https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...5&hl=patch&st=0), then delete the gplc67 and gplh67 exes before entering gem again.
First run a standard 67 session to rebuild the gplc67 exe and then an historic session to build a new gplh exe and all should be working now. (thanks to Duncan)
EDIT:
The dream became true. Since 29 December 2015, we have a V2 of the 1967 F1Historical Mod with more car slots and improved physics covering the entire season. The content of these initial 11 carsets has been incorporated and upgraded in V2, therefore V1 will not be further updated. See you All there https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...showtopic=11180
