    Here's a track installer Posted Image . I took the liberty of including my replay as well, hope nobody minds Posted Image .

    I couldn't find the default mod setups or the Lancia newspaper image, but perhaps they are in the DAT.

    Thanks, TvO. Wish for an installer and receive! Grand Prix Legends is amazing.

    Just downloaded track.
    Here's a sendspace readme: Do not click on green download buttons thinking they are for track download. Scroll down page. Unregistered users are limited to 80KB downloads, so don't use the track download button. If not registered, use "click here" in paragraph below download button to use trial version.
    Seems to work well. Can't wait to find out.
    Thanks Bjorn for the track and Tommie for the installer added on.

    Edit: Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

    Thanks for your help with the installer :thumbup: Just one thing; the gem-picture was screenshot and is missing in gem. I downloaded the newest version of Bernds installer, and this working well! :)
    :new2: Now is the download-file updated and contains the installer in the first post. Thanks for the replay Tommie :thumbup: you master Tronaasen very well after an hour :clap2:

    Glad I could help :) . I have another track here which I made years ago. It's on my HD gathering dust now after Border Reiver gave me some help getting started. Nothing fancy, a very short lap with no altitudes, and no track side objects. I always had the impression altitudes are a tricky thing so kinda postphoned doing it. Track did line up very neatly though, no mismatches I believe :) .

    Some time I might be tempted to start working on it again, but first I gotta finish some more cars for new mods :) :) .

    This has got to be one of the craziest, prettiest and toughest tracks in the whole of GPL! And the fact that it's based on real roads confirms what I've always thought - Norwegians are definitely a little bit more crazy than the rest of the world! ;)

    I like the sound effects, especially the "echo" sounds in the tunnels. The suspension bridge is superb.

    The narrow sections are really challenging, and the climbing hairpin section is a bit like driving up a staircase! This is the only track where I've needed to lower my 1st gear ratio to enable me to accelerate better up the 1:4 hills. It reminds me of the weekend I spent touring West Wales with the Lancia Stratos Enthusiasts' Club. One of the roads we explored was called the Devils' Staircase, running from Llanwrtyd Wells up to the Llyn Brianne reservoir. It was very similar to this track.

    The only slight glitch I've noticed is a problem which happens just after the chain bridge. There's a big grassy bank on the left, and for a fraction of a second some of the background scenery shows through it. But it's very minor.

    Great job Bjorn, thank you very much! :clap2: :yeah: :thumbup:

    EDIT: Also thanks to Tommie for the installer. And after reading Achim's post, maybe we could have a new Ranking for GPL with only circuits from Scandinavia? It could be called "Formula Fjord"! :D :eekout:

            What a marvelous creation! My many thanks. :wave:

            One thing, tho... I had the 66MOD loaded at the time and in trying to load Tron, I got CTD's. After the third...I am, if nothing, persistant..., I finally ditched the GP66 cars for the natural choice here, the Stratos MOD. Ran just fine over the one lap I've done thus far. The fps was generally good but did sag somewhat thru the village. Otherwise, a real treat.

            Thanks, again! :)

              What a ......... creative beautie, what a track!
              Very tricky and a challenge with those hairpins.

              Greetings Pedro.

                Manfred, I get this funny thing happening with this track, when I am in Gem and I select Tronaasen there I get a CTD when I press the green button in GPL, the one thing that tells me that it will crash is that I have an empty track records page, but if I choose another track from the same list I can change it in game to Tron and it works fine, I just can't have Tron selected in Gem when I start GPL. Maybe you are having the same problem :idunno: Is anybody else experiencing this?

                  I couldn't replicate your problem Craig or Manfred. Not sure if it's related but I find I now get CTD if I try to load any track from my 67season (Where I had Tronaasen track, now removed from season) using the Stratos mod. All other seasons are ok with Stratos mod and all other mods are ok with 67season. Weird

                  I'm not sure if this will help with people's problems, but when I first installed Tronaasen the season.ini information was not set up correctly. The trackShortName was set to "Kyalami" and the flag was set to "saflag" (South Africa). I corrected the fields manually and (touch wood) everything has run smoothly for me. My info now looks like this:

                  [Event67]
                  name=Tronaasen Mountain Road
                  shortname=Tronaasen 2010
                  trackShortName=Tronaasen
                  trackDirectory=tronaas
                  flag=norwflg
                  month=6
                  day=19
                  numberOfLaps=24
                  startingGrid=4

                    The first two days downloads did some troubles. Check this files: rec65, rec66, record, rec69, recRX.ini and tronaas.jpg is in the tronaas track folder (the dat and lp-files too). (The screenshot in the installer is not the gem-picture.) Check the season-file, and finally check there are no read-only files. Sorry this happened to you, if it’s still any problems, please report :thumbup: .

                      Some experiences: First driveable flat version and one width; 23 hours :yeah: .
                      To finish the track; 511 hours total :shock: (effectively for 13km :) ). There is a short way to find the speeds in the respective corners, top speed and so. To make the track finish is about a lot of time-consuming progresses. Most of the work is very fun.
                      You can learn how to do most of it, and the altitudes too :artist: . I can recommendation you to progress your project :thumbup: just remember to backup frequently.
