Hi all,

Somebody requested these files, and since RSC isn't capable of hosting the file atm, I thought I'd post it here.

I've made some darker tire treads to fit the sidewall better. I've decreased the brightness and increased the contrast of the original textures included in the mod, made by CityTea. I think they give the wheels a 'fresh' look.

The textures work on both High wing and Low wing cars.

Thanks to Paul for giving permission to release this addon.

Tommie give me the files before release for testing and comment how they looking. So i have only the beta-release installed. The Beta-zip is in my archive on HD.

Please wait a bit, maybe the regular files will upload.

I'm a very patient man, so I can wait. I hope that this file will be downloadable again, beacause it seems a very interesting addon, but unfortunatly I've missed it when it was released.

I've just downloaded the .zip, now I go to install this addon, that I consider a must-have based on what I can see in the pics. :thumbup:

. Hope you like the files. I think they make all the difference to the cars, especially the ones equipped with Dunlop tires like the BRM and Matra.

I think the same as you, so I wrote that I consider this a must-have before installing the files (and obviously I confirm it after the installation!).

I have always thought that the original tyre treads are too light: IMO this is not a personal taste, but an objective consideration, as everyone can see giving a look to a real pic of those cars.

So yes, I like the files very much, and thank you again for sharing. Sometimes the simpliest things are the most clever. :thumbup:
