The first ever race at Aintree was held on 29 May 1954, the BARC Daily Telegraph 200 Formula Libre, which was won by Moss in his privateer Maserati #7, chassis #2508.  This race was run counterclockwise and was the first time that Moss won in this car.

Later in the year on 2 Oct 1954, the BARC Daily Telegraph International Trophy Formula Libre race was held at Aintree and was won by Moss in his Maserati #7, chassis #2508, although it was entered by Maserati.  This race was run clockwise.

The 29 May race was the only time that a race was ever run counterclockwise at Aintree.

Aintree made by Bias and uses Jackseller's fantastic update.

Added a realistic low-horizon with an overcast, cloudy sky as was the case for this event.  Changed some adverts to reflect 1954-55 time period.
Adjusted FB for best in-car viewing.  Adjusted camera file to give better views from TV1 and TV2 cams.

I've included this as a Complete Track Folder only, as this is a NEW Track, so the D/L link for Jackseller's site is not needed

Does this track come with the mod as well or is it a separate install?

Michkov, this is a complete track folder like the other tracks here, but it is a New Track - aintreeR.  There is a track folder installed by the 55Mod with the same files as the other tracks (track55.ini, rec55.ini, etc).  Also, there is an entry for this track in the 05season.ini file.

I think I understand, the mod only provides mod specific .inis and program covers. To actually get the track download the files linked in the first here.

Does this allow one to drive a green Maserati 250 f or is this reserved for Moss ?  I want to drive the GREEN Maserati

Here is a player car #4 version of Moss's 1954 Aintree 200 Maser 250F.

This is an optional player car #4.  You can return to the 1955 Maser 250F by deleting these files from the eagle car folder.

Awesome-o! Then I shall finish my generic carset season in a hurry! Not a fan of Aintree in it's clockwise guise, will give it a go anti-clockwise for my next season!

Usually I prefer clockwise, but (and this is a BIG butt) Aintree reversed is more fun IMO. And you don't even need a weather patch, it already looks quite foggy.
