A new update – Version 3.2 – is now available for the Power & Glory Mod for GTR2. There is an updater to update existing 3.1 installations and a complete 3.2 installer for new users.

This update features heavily revised physics for all the Ford GT40 variants and all the Porsche 906 variants, based on lots of new technical information which has come to light since the physics for these cars was originally done. The GT40 graphics have received numerous improvements and there is a new car – the 1969 IGFA German Racing Team GT40. Changes to the Porsche 906 models are confined to the accurate reproduction of the size of the four different sets of tyres fitted to the various models. The Lotus Cortina graphics have also been improved and feature a new interior for the 1964 models.

As you would expect there are also a number of bug fixes.

More details can be found on the Development Blog at www.gtlw.co.uk which also includes links to User Manuals for the Ford GTs and the Porsche 906.

>>>>> Power & Glory 3.2 - Download at GTLW site <<<<<<

The GTLW is currently a very small team. We did spend three weeks testing this in our free time finding and fixing about a dozen issues. But please be patient with us if there are new issues with 3.2 and if we didn't fix all the issues with 3.1.

Finding free and unlimited hosts for large files like these is a bit problematic. We are grateful to DrivingItalia for hosting the files. Downloading does require registration on an Italian site and while this might put off the casual user, we hope that existing fans of the mod realise any small inconvenience is worth it and will give you access to DrivingItalia's large range of mods and tracks.

    :thanks:
Thanks David and the GTLW team for your time and effort keeping the P&G fire lit. Can't wait to try the new update. :woot:

    Just a couple questions--

I d/l'l from the MEGA site and got one .exe file @ 795mb, is this right?

I ask because Ginetto said there were 4 files, or is that just at DrivingItalia?

Thanks for any help and thanks again for the update.

If you want to update from 3.1 to 3.2 you just need the single exe file

If you want a complete 3.2 install without using a 3.1 install you need the 4 files.

looks to be a very impressive update. Not had a chance to give it a whirl yet but update went smoothly.

Clicking "Update" from the P&G Launcher did nothing. Is that expected?

So I downloaded from 1 of the links and all updated with no issues. Launches OK and cars, Tracks etc all selectable..

File verifier gives me 4 non critical warnings.

I'll give a few of my favourites an outing tonight as a final test.

Many Thanks to everyone involved for their hard work and time in bringing this to us.

      TTFN
      John.

Yes.  Sadly we never had the infrastructure in place to support the update button.

:hysterical: Wow, I haven't seen that before :hysterical:

Looks like an error in the class files, when the mann / works cars were merged.

A spectacular mod with premium quality, I must say. Have been enjoying this mod since v3.0 came out. :)

The pacecar issue above was caused by the 60's Challenge 3 gdb file, because the class for the Lotus Cortina was unified in version 3.2 . The file was still pointing to a Cortina Mann and Cortina Works class.

And does anybody also the wheels on the Porsche while on the showroom?

Managed to fix it, but I don't know if anybody would need it..

Yes the Porsche 906 bug is one I;m kicking myself for.  I produced a new expo.gmt but forgot to upload it to our "master copy".  Don't know how I missed it in testing.

We will discuss whether an official fix can be issued for the bugs so far without causing issues with non-updated versions.

The 3.1 updater is obsolete I'm afraid.  If you don't already have 3.1, go for the full 3.2 installer.

Thank you sincerely for the update. It's installed perfectly. I'm liking the GT40 handling, feels good!

The Cortinas are beautifully modeled! Excellent job fellas.

Great job!  So far I've only driven the GT 40's and the MKII's, but I love the update.  They are really more enjoyable to drive with this update.  Thank you David and the GTLW Crew for your hard work!
