Here is an update for Bill Tillman's Assen TT 1967 track with fixes for starter, gaps zeroed, draw distance,LP (thanks to ezechiel47).
It is a rebuilt and optimized track.3DO; it should be lighter than the original work and is error free guarantee ( I hope )

It also includes graphic updates from Remy's and mine works.

Between the many changes, the track has the original starting grid position at the actual start, instead of the Jaques Bossy misplaced one.

This Update should replace all the other fix and updates that have been release along ten years now.


It was my intention to do a major update for this track but I couldn't find anyone else that seemed interested in working on it, so i just kind of lost interest too.
Accept it as is and enjoy.

Nice work, Ginetto!  Assen has always been one of my favorite tracks and this is a very nice improvement. I used to get a CTD at a certain part of the track if I watched a replay with TV1 and after your update, it doesn't happen anymore.  Many Thanks!

Hi all !


Many thanks to Ginetto and the other people to make this fix for Assen67.

Unlucky i must report a corrupt file from this fix:

sky.mip = "wrong scanline" and "too many subimages" are the message from WINMIP2 (mipchecker).

WINMIP2 can not correct this file.

I delete the new horizont files (horiz0.mip - horiz11.mip, sky.mip, ground.mip and horiz.3do) and use the old from inside the DAT.

P.S.: The mipcheck find another corrupt file in the old DAT. I am not sure, but it can be it is the "groove.mip".
