Pioujd428 the Jarama carset looks great? Are you intending to also do sets for Silverstone and Syracuse as well as your Oulton and Brands sets, (both of which are terrific :clap2: ).

Yes I am they are both 95% done but unfortunately I haven't been doing much work on them for a while now. It has been too frustrating trying to find any photos from the Silverstone International Trophy. Not sure if you have seen this post https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=8495 but that's pretty much all I have on it.
Syracuse is a little easier (although still annoying) because there was only 7 cars and I have that video.
Will try to get Syracuse out as soon as I can, still not sure about Silverstone though.
I did have some updates planned for the first 2 to go with the next carset but I don't think I will bother with them just yet.

Good news regarding Syracuse.
As for Silverstone, I hadn't seen the post in question - a few more photos here but I expect you have seen these.
https://www.latphoto.... trophy&per=100

I am sure that both these carsets would nevertheless be greatly appreciated by the community

expect 2 new carsets after the last v2
that site has helped a lot
thanks

Deegee, thanks for these programme covers you have made, great! I cleaned up the Jarama 67 F1 programme cover for you and made a new Gem pic (right click and save the attached picture & place in your GPLSecrets / Gem+ / pictures - folder).

Here is the real cover for the 1968 ROC, I've have tried to improve the quality of the scan but keep the aging of the document. If you're interested in the 67 F2s I have been posting some of the rarer covers I have found in the 67 F2 forum here https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...427

Greatly appreciate the covers but does anyone have event/page1/page2.pbf files for Brands67 that say British GP ?. I'm sure they must have been produced by someone. failing that can anyone point me to a 'how-to' create these files I thought I had note but can't find it now.

Hi Brian,

I don't have any event files naming the 1968 British GP at Brands but if you'd like to try making them yourself first download Papybmp which you can get from here https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...t=15#entry45639

Use it to extract the bitmaps (bmp) from the 'event / page1 / page 2' pbf files found in either your brands67 folder or if not in your brands67.dat file inside the folder. Alternatively download the event, page1 & 2 files from bapom https://www.trilon.co....shtml#brands67 and use them as your starting base. Edit the bitmap files in a texture editor like paint / photoshop / corel draw etc then use Papybmp to reformat your new bitmap files back into pbf format and place them in your brands67 folder (no need to repack them into the dat file unless you want to).

Note, when you reformat your new bitmap files back to a pbf format they must be the same size (dimensions) as the original bitmaps you extracted before working on them. As these files are quite small in size, what I do is extract the bitmap files, then increase their size in order to edit them more easily, before reducing them back to their original size to reformat back into a pbf file using Papybmp.

Use the settings I have shown in the picture for best results with the two Papybmp converstion processes.

Thanks Duncan, will give that a try, the method I recall started from blank pages and you had to gather flag, correct font, track map and put it all together.
Many thanks found a bit of free software to edit the .bmp file, a few cut and paste actions and have an event & page1, had to shuffle text around page a little bit but not too arduous.

Only thing I notice in PapyBmp is that the green value is always 0 and I don't seem able to change it, any ideas ?.

That will keep me busy for a few nights producing some pages to fit with various mods.

Duncan many thanks for the pointers, found a bit of free software to edit the .bmp files and a few minutes work gave me working event and page1 files. Had to shuffle text around the page a bit to line up better but basically cut & paste ok, the photo editor even had the font I found mentioned in my old notes.

Only thing I noticed is that PapyBmp always sets the green value to 0 and I don't seem able to change it, any ideas ?.

Will keep me busy for a few nights producing some more suitable pages for various mods.

many thanks

Great, glad you got things working Brian and are having success. Yes regarding the green value, when changing a bitmap format to pdf, first highlight the desired bitmap file with the mouse when in Papybmp, then right click to select convert to pbf as you know, then before converting instead select option 'Transparency using Specified Colour', now the boxes for Red, Green & Blue colours should be accessible, type in 255 for Green, then revert to your original option by selecting 'No Transparency' and you should have all the three colours locked in at 255 colours.

Duncan, thanks once again that has worked on the green setting OK. You don't really use these files but its just a small niggle when you do look at them.

Hopefully I have attatched the event and page1 files for brands67 - British GP, goodwood - Sunday Mirror Trophy and Syracuse - GP di Siracusa. As ever backup the existing event.pbf and page1.pbf files in each track folder first then install and rename these for each track.

Hope they work for everyone, alignment is ok on my pc but probably not 100%.
