Just installed P&G 3 love it, question Logitech G-27 steering goes loose in corners is that tyre slip or do I need to do something within my controls losing out in corners in online races.

Make sure "reverse effects" is checked in the game options.
BTW, allow me the suggestion:
In your Logitech control panel, in global device settings, something like this is going to work good (ignore the DFP wheel image, same will apply for the G25 and G27):
Before running the game, 2x click the "Launcher P&G" (icon in your desktop), once in there you'll see a green light with "Player" - click it!
If this last step was already done, you should something like this in "OPTIONS" >> "CONTROLS" >> "FORCE":
