Hi all

My version of a Race of Champions 1967 Historical Carset is finished for now. I do plan on making some updates in the future but at the moment i am really enjoying working on the Spring Cup and BRDC International Trophy carsets. Therefore i have decided to release it now otherwise you probably wouldn't see it for months.

Although it is based around their work i am not G. Spinning or Irridux and this is really my first attempt at editing anything on a computer. The most difficult part was finding useable colour pictures. I do think the historical accuracy is as close as i could get it.

For the installation you need to copy a working Monaco Historical Carset. Rename it to e.g ROFC67 then copy and paste the contents of the cars folder in. Then place the DRVC67 provided to tracks/Brands67. Any problems with the installation let me know and i will try to fix it. I have however tested it many times on my computer without any trouble. More information on the installation and different car options is in the Read Me.

Everything is based around the original historical carsets to make it easier and simpler to install.

Full credit goes to G. Spinning, Silence and Irridux for their work and also to who made the Matra F2 and 66 eagle skins although i am not sure who these are.

I really hope you all enjoy it and please let me know what you think. Any feedback will be appreciated so i can make some improvements if necessary.

Thanks

From Chris

Also here is a drvc67 for if you don't want Amon in

Thank you, excfellent job :clap2:.  I had a strange behaviour of the AI. I solved it re-doing the drvc67 from standard with ROC67 entry list, without specific race adjustments. May be just me?

Oops yes one thing i forgot to mention.
I have my ai speed in Gem set to 0. When it's set to 1 no matter what i did the ai didn't change their speed with Irwin, Ickx, Beltoise and Anderson at the front. Not sure what else could be done to solve this spent a lot of time trying to figure it out.

Thanks for your excellent carset - very good job :clap2:
Very excited to hear you are working on the Spring Cup and International Trophy carsets - with your carsets and the wonderful efforts of G. Spinning, Silence and Irridux, we will finally have a 67 season to match the realism of the 65, 66 and 69 mods. GPL has never looked in a healthier state!!

    :thankyou:

        ok i try
        1) copy Monaco Historical carset and rename ROFC67
        2) delete contents BRM and Ferrari folder
        3) extract each car in the each folder
        4) extrat drvc67 file in the Brands67 folder
one question the mirror file is the overwrite ot no?

        You did a nice job.

@niki: it's only important that you have a mirror file in each carset

Gianfranco. Would you mind sharing your adjusted drvc67 file.

I am at pains with the current one. Changing the ai strength in GEM to 1.0 or 0, doesn't change their behavior.
