Hi Michel,
again I have a question that only you may know the answer. I did the BRM P261 for Stewart at Le Mans for the murasama slot and I have to choose for the tyres. From what I know BRM in 1967 were in general using the Goodyear. However, the P261 was modelled with Firestone at Montecarlo and I can imagine you blessed that. What shall I do for the French GP? Keep Goodyear for the P83 and Firestone for the P261, or Goodyear for all?
When you find the time to look at it, I will appreciate your answer so I can post this option.
Cheers

BRM never used Firestone Tyres, It runs with Dunlop in 65 and 66, with Goodyear in 67 and 68 and in 69 It comes back to Dunlop.

Probably, He has borrowed the Tyres from Reg Parnell brother Team for this race...
Or, maybe, He shares his car with Chris Irwin's P261.
Check the nose of the P261...
Anyway, the official BRM Team used the Firestone Tyres only on 67 P261.

I add also a nice photo which shows behind Ligier the orange nose of the P261 of Stewart with the BRM badge. The mentioned movie was also very instructive. The car is in post #1 with Firestone tyres.

after a quick check, we can confirm the P 261 used Firestone at Monaco and Bugatti for Stewart; But the Reg Parnell car seems to have switched from Dunlop ( monaco, Courage) to Firestone ( Irwin)
Beginning the season on Dunlop, they were undecided on what to use; even at Kyalami, they tried Good Year for practice.
The work team used alternatively Dunlop then Good Year ( U.K GP) Dunlop ( German) and from the Canadian GP until Mexico Good Year only
