If you decide to stay in Africa,  Jonny'o and ED76 invite you to participate in the " championship  sprinbok series GT 1968 " ( MOD GT )

included :

a season.ini including the 5 events of the championship
the different trackGT.ini
the 5 DRIVGT.ini (+ photos of drivers)
the corresponding skins
new AI files for Killarney

sheets to mark the results

events :
9 h Kyalami
3 h Cape Town ( Killarney )
3 h Lourenço Marquès
3 h Petermarizburg ( Roy Hesketh )
500 km East London

Each race lasts about 50 minutes in Pro mode, except for the Kyalami race divided into three 50 minutes relay

put GTss68.ini in the seasons folder.  (if you used GEM: it's name needs to be 8 characters long so it must be changed  to GTseas68.ini or SSGT1968.ini ,  )

910 to porsche
gt40 to mk1gt40....

Firstly, many thanks for the vast amount of time that must have gone into recreating this series.
It is very much appreciated.   

I dowloaded the attachment & found that I needed to make the following name adjustments:

GTss68.ini is a seasons file & needs to be placed in the seasons folder.  Also it's name needs to be 8 characters long so I changed mine to GTseas68.ini

& (to have all the liveries applied) In cars/carsGT folders:
2d to 2DChap
910 to porsche
gt40 to mk1gt40

I haven't downloaded this, only looked at the screenshots, but- No.15 a Lotus Elan ?  I have never seen one like that, in fact never seen a Lotus like that at all.
May we have an elucidation please ?

Thank you very much for your courteous response.

Certainly there is a #15 Lotus there, but I am afraid that your screenshot shows something different to prototype, for example the engine is in the wrong end of the car !

Please forgive my nit-picking but the rest of your stuff looks so marvelous that as an ex-owner of an Elan I would love to have one to drive that looked a little more like the prototype - even though that itself has been much modified from an original Elan.

The Lotus Elan was among the first made ​​skin from the  photo IMCA-slot but I realized that this site is not reliable.
Since I found a good photo of Rowe's car at Roy Hesketh 1967 .  (I would do later, unless to do so by Jonny).
I unfortunately can not put this picture on the forum (Copyrigth)

PS : in the future , we can also hope a better Lola "Ice Cream" for Doug Serrurier :

Can this work in GEM? In the carset setup in GEM, I can't get it to show more than seven cars when I need nine.

you put the different cars with the normal carset ?

Practice 25 minutes, running 25 minutes

NO obligation to come to all races

I would put some AI to complete the grid (small cars, lotus, alfa ....)
