Welcome to the 1967 Sports Cars Mod for Grand Prix Legends which models the 1967 International Manufacturers Championship for over 2.0 liter prototype cars.

Here is the link to the new 1967 Sports Cars Mod website with updated information and photos.  Inside, you will find the download link to the mod installer file:

https://www.sportscarlegends.net

Once again, be sure to read the mod release notes which you will find on the website, in the repository/SCGT67 directory after the mod is installed, and here:

https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...opic=6200&st=51

Also attached is GPL Setup Manager v1.1.8 which handles the sports cars.

Enjoy the mod!

Thanx Lee :hat-tip: for this info

Should I use the GPL Installer Version 0.97 or is there enough time to wait for Bernd Nowaks update 1.0x ?

I have a wonderfull working OPL installation and want to have a parallel Sports Car GPL folder.

Bernd´s first installer will do a fine job, if the new one is not released by the time the Mod is.

Dave, I won't promise it this weekend, but you won't have to wait very long.

Bruce, I've used the GPLPS program which I thought was version .99 and it perfectly created a fresh installation.  I think there is a release and a beta version, but am not an authority on that.  The main thing is to get a working GPL installation with the .exe updated to v1.2.0.2 and install the tracks.  The mod installer will do the rest.

EDIT:

I see Art answered the questions too.   :)

but the mod will work fine alongside other mods in the same installation directory.

It definitely does.
Just don`t forget to create a new GPL player for the GT mod, e.g. firstname_lastnameGT

No Problem.  Anticipation is all part of the fun.     You probably helped me avoid a big argument with my wife about me spending the whole weekend driving.  Maybe I should say postponed because that argument is a coming!   :D

Thanks to everyone who played a part in creating the upcoming mod.    :bigclap:

If you have a working GPL installation you have 2 choices:

1) Simply create a new player in this and install the mod into this GPL. This way you can easily share your tracks between the mods.
2) Just copy the whole GPL directory and adjust GEM to work with 2 installs.

I would prefer option 1 as I have a lot of advantages and don't have to install tracks twice but this is my opinion.

Only important thing is that you might have working V2 rasterisers from Nigel. The reason is that at least the original D3D rasteriser might have problems with full AI and to much stuff to display. The result is that you might see cars which only are displayed with the wheels. The rest is simply not displayed. I had this one time and use the V2 rasterisers since then.

If there's need for the GPLPS beta installer you find the link here: https://gplps.wordpre...a-is-available/

I bet you guys will have much fun driving those cars!
