Hi guys,

I know there were some patches for GEM+ at old RSC forums, which allow each mods use own folders for setups and replays. Does anybody still have them for 65-69 mods?

Thank you for your time.

PS: I'm sorry, seems I've posted in a wrong section - it must be in GPL-Misc' Addons...

If you're interested in specific replay/setup folders for the 65/66/69/TC mods, go to this thead at RSC's.
Post #8 gives you the instructions on how to use them. Post #14 links to the actual XML files.

Huge thank you Akseli :)

To anyone who will use this patches: you need to manually create specific folders for replays, i.e. repl65, repl66, repl69, repltc and replRX in the main GLP directory. Otherwise game will not save replays and crash when you will try go to replay section in the main GPL menu.

PS to moderators: please move this topic in GPL-Misc' Addons section :)

Here is a version that supports every mod that is released so far. Also, it should be easier to install. Just drop all the files in your GPL-folder and enable those two checkboxes in GEM+. I hope it works ;)

Have setup the replay folders, does anyone have a view on whether creating the setup folders is worthwhile ?. Would like to know before I start to download lots of setup files.

If you've created a separate driver for each mod, setups for each mod will be saved (or installed) to the proper "GPL\player\(driver name)\setups" folders.  These folders are automatically created for each driver when you use that driver in-game.

If, like many, you have "base" setups, a good way to keep them easily accessible is to create a "_setups" folder in the track folder (GPL\tracks\_setups), this will give each player a "_setups" folder.  Place the base setups for each mod (or default) in the corresponding "player\setups\_setups" folder;  in-game this will be at the top of the list in the setup menu.
