This is one of my favourites, the atmosphere of the track is great.  I too did not like the horizon so I have a degree of fog setting which suits the winter setting and increases that cold feeling.
This was released as a seperate track so I'm surprised it is not available.

Just remembered I also put in the brake markers addon (don't recall who made them) for Rouen which work a treat.

I heard back from Keith and he is going to have a look and probably fix the link. Check it over the next week or so and hopefully it will be fixed

I really don't think it will be a problem as I think it was only removed until an installer was made, I just don't want to upset anybody by posting it. I will send you a PM in the next day or so (14 hour work day for me today)

I'm not aware of any problem with this track, I have it with an installer that works since 2004

so here it is, with 2 little add-ons

The sunny_sky addon is not working for me. The 3do file is broken.
Without the addon, the sky looks horrible.

Try adding some fog; this is what I use and the track looks great.

[ fog ]
type = 1
density = 5.5
fog_r = 150
fog_g = 175
fog_b = 200

Here is a small addon to give 10% less grip for winter conditions.

It works the same way as the snowtude 10% less grip addon

readme included.


I found it makes me about 3 seconds slower than the normal rouen track.


For fog and white dirt ( snow ) I use these settings in the track.ini and track65.ini

[ fog ]
type = 1
density = 5
fog_r = 190
fog_g = 190
fog_b = 200

[ dirt ]
dirt_r = 225
dirt_g = 225
dirt_b = 225
