The Final version of my Lotus update is online now (you can find it on my homepage).
Maybe there will be some minor changes in future versions, when I get new photo material - not every detail was clear up to now. But until then it is version 1.0.

It's hard to believe that the version I have had for the past six or so months isn't a final version because it is so good, I can't wait to drive with the latest version. Thanks Thomas

Wow, Thomas, that is absolutely beautiful!!! To be honest, it was yours and Jack Seller's work that inspired me to have a go at modding myself! And its just great to see work of this outstanding quality: you continue to be an inspiration! Thank you so much!!!
PS, I'm really looking forward to seeing your version of Reims, one of my favourite tracks....and I know what you mean about spending more time modding than driving..

I'm (patiently) waiting for T. Laechele Reims w.i.p. textures update (he is a great artist, we know it quite well ); in the meantime, I've seen on his elegant site that there are 2 new cockpit version for GPLEA Lotus and Eagle. Don't know if it's a news or not, anyway I want to report it here and give a thanks again to Thomas.

And ignore the fact that he calls the Eagle cockpit a "beta". His work is so good that it is a fantastic looking cockpit already.

You have hit the spot, Burnsy; he call it "beta" (probably) because in the future want to release an even more accurate version, but talking about textures quality no one imho can say that is a beta version.

Dear GPL community.
Thank you for the kind words!
I finished work on my version of the 1967 Eagle Weslake T1G cockpit (after years;-). It is no official update, it's only my personal interpretation and you can use it if you like it.
Now it is version 1.0.
For those of you who don't like the reflections on the gauges I made an alternative dash with less reflections (for better readability).
https://www.thomas-la.../gpl/index.html
(at the very bottom of the page;-)
Yesterday I started with the cockpit of another Eagle Weslake Mk1 F1 car (somehow I was in the mood for it, don't know why, therefore very early beta with some inaccuracy and slight blur).
It's from a car with #23 on it and I think it's based on a chassis with number 102 or 103, which was used in 1966 and 1967.
So it's not exactly the car that is modelled for 67 season - the 1967 eagle in GPL has a 104 chassis as far as I know. Maybe it is better for 66 mod?
I hope someone can help with the identification of this car/cockpit or with good photo material, especially from the left side - dash/labeling/metal panel?
Thanks.
Thomas
