A very talented man , this Thomas Laechele !!!
I've tested his Lotus cockpit and his track grafics for Salzburg, Hockenheim and Norisring with much fun.
There is indeed something special in his lights and colors. Outstanding good work !
Wolfgang.

This guy has real talent.
Would love to see him tackle a few more tracks. I love the texture he gets for the tarmac, though i know its not to everyones taste.
Anyway, one of the many fantastic contributions to GPL.

An astonishing work, thanks to von grip for pointing at this. The guy who made it is very talented, but seems very shy too, or simply reluctant to talk about his work to the GPL community; watching at his effort and very good results, seems a pity in the end (my opinion).

yea, i've been thinking of trying to recruit him for the mods in progress right now. we're seriously shy of good painters these days. i'll try and pm or email thomas about this when i'm back home

He doesn't have to hang out at this forum. There are lots of "lurkers" here.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback.
You're right, I'm not very busy in posting, sorry, but that's because I want to concentrate on texture work itself.
And that's quite much work compared to my free time (and there is not much time left to DRIVE Gpl, wich means I only look at my textures without driving much;-).
So you may understand why half of my projects are still "beta", the other reason is that it's not easy for me to say "Now it's ok".
But now I have to thank all of you in the community - you are the reason GPL is still alive and it's getting better each year - I'm really happy to give something back to you.
And maybe someday you will find some small mod-textures by me as well. Who knows.

Thomas has been busy and has recently added some newer updates to both the cockpits and some of the tracks, if you haven't had a look at this do yourself a favour and at least install the lotus cockpit, it is absolutely brilliant IMO. Thanks again Thomas.
