Hi all!

This is a carset of Tasman series cars from 1964 to 1968.
I just modified and updated existing cars and textures.
And many thanks for people who all are involved with GPL
and people who made its editing possible.

Installation:
You should have installed GPL65 mod and GPL69 mod
because it uses some sound files from there.
Just unzip and put the content from the folder(s) into Your GPL directory.
It's GEM compatible as well.
And have fun!

Feel free to modify it.

Here is 1964
Attachment Tasman1964.zip

Thank you for all your work, fun to drive the 1964 cars on the skinny tires :D

Dr Tooth

I hope for on-line cars too. :)

Just wanted to add a quick word of thanks.  These are great carsets, I've really enjoyed driving the 65 carset around the tight and twisty Australian and New Zealand tracks.  The tracks are often a bit tight for anything too quick but the 65s are spot on.  The cars are nicely done and it's great to have some colour, green looks good on racing cars but you can have too much of it!!

Well, You have right. I checked my 66 cooper and there was missing number for just one car. If someone has the same problem then please post it here and I'll see what I can do.

Keido, your ‘Best Laps’ fixes in post #38.
Please can you  clarify exactly into which folder one should unzip them ? - ‘cars’ (by year); ‘mods’: ‘mods gem+’. or where ?

Just unzip to Your GPL directory where You installed Your Tasman carsets.

I did put the files into the folders, so that if it would be unzipped into the GPL directory then it should go into right place. But if You do as I do useing extract here or extract into folder then open the folder where You unzipped it or just cut it where You unzipped it and paste it into the GPL directory where You did install Your Tasman carsets. These files are *.cst files which initially goes to GPL/mods/GEM+ directory. Hope it clears it.

One question Keido.I want to change the color of my Cooper T55 1964 but i'm not able to find the file between the pilots and the tail of the car,is the file over the exhaust of the engine.Could you help me?The other part are already changed and i have changed the N41 green and white.

I am doing online skins for 64 and with that I will add option to change #19 to other colours as well. But the file what covers the tail is ...back and for Palmers car it is hysback.

I think now I know what You may mean. There are 5 files what covers the engine, because I used as much as possible the original polygons. After those 2 mentioned earlier the rest are copinco, incopco and trumcop. There are some minor differences within different cars thought but I think it would help You.
