Hi all

did some offline races and noticed, that the AI pit crew already waited with the tires and fuel one lap before they enter the pitlane. how can i motivate my crew to do the same? they always bring the tires not until i stay. i know there is a button for pitstop request, but i guess it doesn't work.

thx

Hi Henry,

you're right. A pitstop request is required to make the pit crew wait for you. The default request button is the '9' key on the standard keyboard (not the number block).

I experienced that in GTR2 the request sometimes is not accepted by unknown reason. Then you have to repeat pressing the '9' until it is. As with P&G there is no pit radio the only confirmation for an accepted request is the blue light in the hub lit.

I hope this helps.
Thomas

doesn't work. i tried offline, online, different cars. different keys/buttons.
i pushed steadily the button more than 1 lap.
i pushed repeatedly the button more than 2 laps.

no reaction. any ideas?

ok i found the solution: the buttons don't work if the speech volume is set to 0.

Interesting find. Perhaps we will need to alter the menu screen that recommends setting the speech volume to 0%.
