there ought to be different flagmen for yellow, white, blue and green flags.

It looks like this is not the case. I do have updated flagmen installed, and they show all coloured flags as required. However, the only graphics files in my objs folder show green flags. So the colours must be hardcoded in gpl.exe, I think. However, if you want to exchange the flagmen for such a lights system at all tracks, it might be possible to create pseudo-flagman textures, blinking or not, so that GPL activates them in the correct colours as needed.

He he. I have 9 versions of Mosport, and only 3 have flagmen. Time to do some cleanup.

I'll take flagmen over traffic lights any day if it's a one or the other proposition.

If you want cloudy skies to go with all the spectators that have umbrellas, here is Klas's horizon. :)

Sigh.... I got out my GPL cd and installed a virgin Mosport. Flagman. Installed Rudy's AIO. No flagman.

Took JP's Mosport. Flagman. Added Rudy's AIO. No flagman. Maybe I got a bad download.

There is a flag 01 - 06 srb in there. The tracks that have flagmen don't have those. There are also 2 3do's that have the word "flag" in them. I tried moving them out in different combinations, but kept getting the "could not load track" message.

Scratch that. That stuff is for another flag.

No start or finish flagman either.

                Thanks VG. Will try soonest.

An oddity. Watched a 60fps replay yesterday, and the flagman was there! :wubit: Went to gem and switched to 36fps, and the flagman was gone. :huh2: I'm not confused. Nope. Not at all.

So I can switch between the 60 and 36fps mod in GEM? Is there a new version out, I thougth the new package just wraps everything together with nothing new.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. I just had to ask

The only way you've ever been able to run 60fps is through GEM, afaik.

No one else has lost their flagmen? Then I will start over from scratch and see what happens.

Oppolo: Think of this as a feast. Rudy's work is the main course. And then there are all of the side dishes to try.... :)

we were race Mosport 60fps yesterday and there was flaggers in race but after race i check replay
there was none flaggers  it is maybe version conflict or common Mosport bug ?

im using clean Ruud's mosport update packed in *.dat. (*.dat include necessary flagger.3do,flagger.srb,starter.3do).

I'm starting to think it's a Mosport bug. In the 40th AWC race there in 2007 I didn't have flagmen online but did have them offline. That version is still like that.

For sound, would it be better to try to get rebel racer to make sounds for Ruud's 3.do, or just add Ruud's goodies to rebel racer's 3.do?
