Hi guys,
I have done a new patching tool to enable/disable Pribluda support in the GPL.exe file. It runs fine in Vista 64, Windows XP and in Windows 98 here but I would like to hear from others if it really works before including it in a newer installation for Pribluda.

Simply make a backup copy of your GPL.exe before playing around with it :)

Installation:
Download the attachment and unzip the file. Place the file in your GPL directory and start it. Either with the explorer or from Command Line. The rest should be self explaining.

All feedback welcome !

For the Vista users it's interesting if the 'Allow Program to run?' message pops up.

I tested it with the Windows 7 RC 64bit and it seems to work fine too.

Does it not work ?

Windows 95/98 is important for me as I can't start GPL in a Windows 98 vmware guest. Same for other windows versions :)

Adding support for 95/98/ME/NT4 with current commercial compilers from Embarcadero(Borland->Codegear->Embarcadero) or Microsoft is a pain and if you don't want to rely on to many 3rd party hacks it's not desired. Reason for this is that Microsoft stopped support for those operating systems.

Luckily I had a Delphi 2007 version which allowed me to do native win9x -> windows 7 code without hacking but with no functional windows 98 I can't test it.

Achim,
but if you wish you can help me.
Download Pribluda from here: https://www.amirkamal....html#downloads

Unzip and copy the files to your GPL directory. Until now GPL should run OK.

Set GPL to D3D or OpenGL if possible. I know that you have a voodoo card so I don't know if this is an option.
Make a backup copy of your GPL.exe.
Patch GPL.exe with the patcher utility from here not the original patch.com.
Start GPL by using the patched GPL.exe directly (don't use GEM) and start a driving session. Should be displaying the pribluda stuff in D3D or OpenGL.
Quit GPL.
Run the patcher again and try to start GPL again. Should now don't display any pribluda stuff.
Now you can delete the stuff from pribluda. And to be absolutly safe replace your GPL.exe with your backup GPL.exe

That is if you wish to help :)

Hi Bernd !

I will think about this.

In the moment i have installed all rasterizers for GPL (the old ones D3D and OpenGL - wiherrs ? / and the brand new rasterizers v 2 - both D3D and OpenGl) but never use one of them. So maybe i can test it in the way you described. Please give me some days for thinking and organisize about this test.

Greetings

Achim
