Nothing to do Bernd, the 67 do not work.I not able to understand wy with the new GEM there is this problem.
I have a folder for each yar,65,66,67,68,69,with all the new GEM work but with the 67 no.Also if i try to start the 67 from 66(the cars folder 67 is also in the 66) the game do not start from the green button.
I have tested a new installation of GEM but ,if i start with the gpl.exe inside my 67 folder, there is a misplace of the button in GEM.The only way is to instal GEM with the GPL.exe in the folder 66,69 or 65(68 is not a mod is a 69 with some cars 67 for the start of the season). Until now I'm not able to find an explanation.Have you one Bernd?
There is also a problem with IGOR,if I try to host a race, only mod66 is active.
Thank you for a reply.

I need to know what windows version (Operating System) you are using Windows NT/Windows 2000/Windows XP/Vista/Windows 95/98/ME ?

But another easy one would be to use the GPL Patch Inspector: Small tool: GPL Patch Inspector
Just download the zip file (gplinspect109.zip) and extract. Location don't matter. Then start the program. There's a button in the upper left corner called Select File to analyse A windows explorer window will open and you need to point to one of the GPL.exe files with problems.

Don't copy the gpl.exe file. The tool can only help if you analyse the GPL.exe (GPLC67.EXE) in the GPL directory where it don't run. The tool is only analysing.

Check to see if you can see an error. Otherwise use ALT+PRINT and open MSPaint (Start/Run/mspaint in case of Windows XP) and insert the clipboard image via CTRL+V and save as jpg.

I have checked your files and the gpl67.bmp indicates that you don't have any additional sound files. It's better to at last download the ones from the GPLEA (Ron) which you can download here: https://gplea.rscsite...LEASOUNDSv5.ZIP. Just unzip the downloaded zip file and copy the files to the G:\GPL67\sound directory.
Run the GPL Patch Inspector again and check if it works.

For iGOR. I'm not sure but I think when you have used the latest GEM package iGOR GPL Path in your case seems to be G:\GPL67.
Because you have installed the mods in seperate GPL directories (G:\GPL66, G:\GPL65 ....) you have to start iGOR and use the option to point to one of the other installations. To my knowledge GEM don't give the link to iGOR when you use more then one GPL directory.
Or an another way would be to copy the iGOR directory and create new iGOR directories for 66, 65 and 69.
If you have changed the path to GPL in iGOR options you need to save it, exit iGOR and restart iGOR.

But I know that others are around which use the same technique and may give better tips how to handle more then one GPL directory with iGOR.

Thank you Bernd, for the Igor the explanation seem logic, for the 67 is not understandable because I have changed nothing and, with the old GEM,I have played many times. In any case i check inside the sound folder.
The exe that have problem with the inspector is the GPLc.exe,if you look to the GPL.exe you read :cars sound not activated in both the folder(GPL66,GPL67).I have tested only the GPLc.exe in the 66 folder for the moment also because in this days i spend my time in the realization of a new track. Is Killarney in S.A.

It's for sure an interesting problem. I remember last year or the year before when visiting Dave in the USA that a friend of him had the same problem. We just made a backup and applied the AiO patch and it was running.

The All In One patch 2.x should be available in your language too but it would be enough if you copy the sound files I think (and hope).
But in case it don't work with only the sound files I would opt for the All-In-One patch in italy from here: https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...?showtopic=2621

Make a backup of the g:\gpl67 directory.
Apply the patch
Copy core.ini and app.ini back from your backup
Start GPL.exe in G:\GPL67 from the explorer. It should run.

In GEM don't use the carsound option. Leave it like it is/was that means normally it's unchecked.

Hope we get it working :)

This poblem has cropped up a few times recently and as I've said previously in other threads something strange happened in a recent GEM update with regard the soundpatch. I think, but I'm not entirely sure, that the tick box in GEM reverses what you have in the base exe. So if you are already soundpatched you MUST leave it unpatched in GEM. But if you are not sound ptached it seems you must tick the box and have the sounds installed. It seems we must have soundpatch one way or the other now to make GPL work!! (When using GEM anyway!)

Also can I add, in my opinion multiple installs are an unneccesary complication.

It would be useful if there was an accurate description of what GEM+ does to gpl.exe. I've been surprised a couple of times, and judging from this topic others have as well. Documentation would help to design patches which go to the Options folder, and users who are not sure which options to select and what to do in each case.

Thank you,in this days I try all the suggestion, but now I need another suggestion for another problem.I want to add a collision to the 3do used for the tree of my track. In which way is possible to open an existing 3do with the 123do to apply the collision?

Coul be an unnecessary complication, but i have created, for the 67, a driver.ini and a cars folder for each race of the championship. Now if the features of 66 are made also for the 67 and 69 this work is unuseful. In any case the fact is that also the cars67 in the 66 folder have the same problem and is like to have one installation.

As we had lots of trouble in the very past (years) I have changed the All-In-One packages to include the soundpatch as well as include it in the installer. This way, for me, nothing can go wrong.

Even now with GEM offering some kind of sound patch I never use it because there are only 2 GPL patches for me:

Make it completly new with GPLPS installer or use the AiO patch  :P Then in GEM I never checked the sound patch option and all went well for me.

There was a reason why Magnus has started with the All-In-One package. At least for me :)

I had to redo my object for the collison box in 123do. It could be done via some of the editors but I'm not sure about this.
