First a big thanks to dangermouse for creating this archive of my updates (particularly keeping the forum threads for each individual track update, which sometimes contain key info about how to install), thanks mate  

I am aware that some of the individual zips within the all in one file created by dangermouse are corrupt and that there are a few ommissions.  As I still have all of these updates on an old PC, I will upload the non corrupt versions & ommissions here (i.e. you need both what's in dangermouses all in one file and what I will upload here).  If anyone finds anything still corrupt or missing, please pm me.

Bear in mind that these updates date back to 2004-5, so they aren't exactly cutting edge

By the way, there is no original work by me in these updates.  I never edited a 3do or created a mip in my life !  These updates were just my attempt to pull together the best updates (imho) that were already available at the time and to spruce up tracks, by reusing textures from other tracks.  All of the credit for these updated goes to the usual list of talented GPL editors

Thanks for the kind words guys.  Glad to see that the GPL community is still alive & well & populated by such a nice crowd.  I spent a lot of time compiling these updates for the league I was racing in at the time (the T.League, which now runs GTR2), so it's nice to see them getting used more widely now.

Funny, I was just thinkig about uploading all the updates Mark collected (which once had a home at RSC), as I just posted your Silverstone Club updates for our next league race. And thought that newcomers would really miss something without knowing them.

It seems that those files are not in the links above and no longer available elsewhere.

It doesn't matter for some of them but for Croft Short, Gyral, Snetterton 67 (racingline) and Suzuka 2000, maybe the proposed files are interesting even if those files are, of course, very old.

If someone has it, it may perhaps be interesting for someone else. By my side it seems that I don't have it.

Strange !   I have the utomyab_updates.7z too (238 mo) and nothing about those four tracks in it.

You really have some files about Croft Short, Gyral, Snetterton 67 and Suzuka 2000 in these 7z archive ?
