Unable to launch GPL66 2.0

I have removed and then installed the mod 66 1.0 then 2.0 and GEM + and it still does not work! "LPG has met a pb and needs to close" ...

GPL66 1.0 is OK with GEM+. After installation version 2.0, not OK...

Before you installed the patch, did you remove the gpl66 folder from gpl/mods/gem+ ?

Correct installation requires a working version of 66mod already installed.
Then you must remove the gpl66 folder as described above.
Then install the 66 patch.

I think the install proceedure for these patches could be better and it is easy to make an install error.
I will try to think of a better solution.

I have a problem with GPL66 and Gem+:

I use trackIR, latest software release and GPLshift, latest release. When I start GPL66, GPLshift will not recognise TrackIR, in all other mods, like 65 or 69, everything is fine. My Logotech G25 is recognised in every mod, also in 66.

When I start GPL66 directly over GPLc66.exe, everything is working fine and my trackIR is recognised.

I did some reinstalls of gplc66, the complete mod and the 2.0 update, I patched and unpatched the exes, deleted the gplc**.exe files and made them new, nothing helped. I think, I did every install, uninstall and reinstall version possible.

I connected JSJ, but it seems to be not a problem of GPLshift.

Hi Rolf, you say everything is fine if you launch 66 from the gplc66.exe ?

Is it still ok if you join an online race via Igor ? ( so that Igor launches the 66 exe )

I just tested this and the only way that the GPLShift adjustments don't work is offline, launching through GEM.  Going through GEM > iGOR > 66 mod race, it works OK.

So it appears that it's something in GEM that blocks GPLShift from making the adjustments.
