Hi all !

I have done a complete new set of high resolution textures (512x512 max.) for the GPLEA Eagle Weslake cockpit, both blue and red.

Two screenshots :

Attached File  eag_cockpit.jpg   305.8K   1809 downloads  Attached File  eag_cockpit_mcl.jpg   300.72K   1520 downloads

Here are the details of the improvements :

- windshield
- chrome mirrors (no object inside)
- dashboard
- side panels
- steering wheels (Mc Laren version included)
- knees (cockpit view)
- outside side panels and dashboard

Installation :

Unzip the content of the zip file in your \SIERRA\gpl\cars\cars67\eagle\ folder.

You can download this update here : DOWNLOAD
You can also download my "Mc Laren playable online" update on the same page.

I hope you will enjoy it ;).

Looks neat, especially the padding..!   :)  Does it include the McLaren M5A, too?

Yes, the M5A is included too. I have added a screenshot in my first post.

It's the same cockpit with a McLaren s.wheel.

Greetings

Achim

EDIT: Ups, the screenshots changed to Jops Siffert (fantasy track).

The track is Jops Siffert, in the opinion of a lot of people, the most beautiful add-on track ever made.

This is surely the most beautiful cockpit for eagle I've ever seen.

But all the cockpits, which I found, look little bit weird for me, I have impression, that they are very wide, especially the 'hole'' in body for the cockpit, but from photos I have impression, that it should be much narrower, little bit more than width of  human in shoulders, maybe that the driver was able to see a part of the body too (like in cockpit of e.g. BRM P261 in 65&66 mods). Are we sure, that the perspective of the eagles' cockpits is right? If no, would be possible to re-do it? :idunno:

Here is a photo Citytea sent me some years ago when I questioned him about his Eagle cockpit.  Let the debate begin!
