Seems we have a new Stardust International Raceway - https://www.nogriprac...hp?filenr=33335

That looks good.  The track that ended Jim Hall's driving career and nearly his life.  Without a proper keyboard for a few days, but I will get it added shortly.

It would be great if you host the files in other mirror like megaupload, cause of the download limit of NGR.

Well, you just can't grab the tracks and start hosting them by yourself.  You would need to ask (and get) permissions from everyone.  That's probable reason why there's only links to tracks here.

Yeah, as a basic track it's not bad, compared to the GPL version it needs a scenery update though (the sea on one side is totally missing - I don't think I could stand releasing a track like this. It'd keep bugging me and bugging me until I fixed it somehow... AI is slow, too, worth increasing the ol' Midadjust .AIW value.)
Overall it did remind me of the GPL version though - even though afaik this one is scratch built and not a conversion - so I guess that's a good thing. East London was sorely missing so far for historic sims (outside of GPL that is).

(Oh, and there's a new Solitude out too today, I noticed.)

Yeah, just noticed the Solitude release.

Not tried it yet, due to hardware problems, but it certainly looks like a good version from the screenies.

Solitude 64 - https://www.nogriprac...hp?filenr=33683

One of the first and finest tracks I remember from when I started playing GPL. Couldn`t get enough of it, even though I ended up in the trees half the time. You just couldn`t help but push the car that teeny, tiny little bit more through the corners of the flat out sections, and that`s all it took to end it all  :)

Anyone willing to help me obtain (elevation) data for the GoodWood Hillclimb track? I've kinda-sorta promised I'd look into making it as a quickie, since people keep asking for it.  (rF/GTL/GTR2)

Getting the track map off Gugle Earf isn't a problem, but haven't found any data on elevation changes yet. If I manage to make it, it's gonna be the basic track w/basic scenery, but once I'm done I'm going to post the project files, so that people who know & love the track can put in proper scenery and such themselves.

Thanks, Greg, my puter is back going again.  I'm more worried about yours.

First post is updated with East London, Solitude, and Bryar.  Sure wish East London had the ocean on its horizon.  We sailed right by there years ago, so I know its there.  Nice to see Solitude, one of the truly great tracks, and a good surprise in Bryar.

cheers,
steve

Oh I wasn't aware East London was out, great!
I have been having some fun around Bryar, how come they changed it to a lousy oval these days. The little road circuit has some nice character over the bumps.

It is and it's added to the first post.

Couple of different versions of earlier Motorfx tracks up at noGrip, Kyalami 75 and Monza 75 with the first of those silly chicanes.  They're both added to the first post as well.

cheers,
steve
