Are these updates for the GPL Preservation Society Installer? I'm not that familiar with add-on cars in GPL yet.

Who has kept contact with Nils Ruwisch ?

Seeing the few pages on server that needed GPLEA entire site, it would be a bad new if it vanished into obscurity ...

  GPLEA is, imho, the liviest symbol that GPL is still alive and well, and going on .This site is an icon for most GPL ers.
If someone can put me in contact with Nils, I will see what happens, and check what I can do to save the entire pages.

No.  The full GPLEA cars and options are what are included in the Installer, as far as I know.

after checking, that 's the download functions that are not directing to files.

15 mega X 10 cars = 150 Megas .is the price to high for such a low space on a server ?

Hi boys! I recently installed this great game. It's very fun but now I have a little problem!
I have installed the ferrari 36v but the info refer to 48v.  
How can I fix the car info on the player team screen? There a way with GEM+?

Help please!

  the Player info only display the Ferrari 312 .You can use the 48 V or the 36 V  but with the same physics for your player info.

Where is your problem ?

The number of valves and car photo shown in the Player Car menu cannot be changed by GEM+.  The number of valves is set by the physics file.  Someone might have a photo in pbf format of the 36 valve car that you can swap for the current one.

This only affects the menu display and has nothing to do with the car physics.  The physics are always the same regardless of the display.

My problem is not to fix the phisics but to fix the info screen with correct information for 36v.
Which file I must edit for do this? It's possible to edit this file as a normal txt?

As you can see on the screenshot, we have all the 48 default infos.The team info page display the 48 valves because it was what decided the person who did the layout

  1 : TEXT : For the others carsets, you can editwhat is displayed on all the car infos screen, opening  a carset .cst file inside the /mods/gem/,using Notepad, and changing the text.I am now doing it for the 67 F2 carset to come. But I am afraid you can't with the 67 carset that is activated by default in GEM.

  2 : PICTURE  If you wish to have picture of the 36V, you can edit the Team info screen.pbf, but you 'll need a tuto playing with the .lyt files inside the layout folder.

forgot : if he did it, it is I think because inside GPL Original Steve Smith book, they said the physics Papyrus used inside the game
is based on the 48 valves engine power and torque.

And sorry , but I should have noticed that the picture displayed is Chris Amon at Spa, so that 's the 36 Valves ! A small mismatch bug in the team infos menus

  Sorry but I can't direct you to a 48 V HI RE cockpit.Checked on my HDD and on some add ons links, but didn 't find one.Must exist, anyway ...
