Good luck at Spa Swen, get those exits right and your times will tumble
Your trying some good tracks there Otavio, Birmingham is great isn't it? and Shutoko is a adrenaline track. I remember Rio fondly, it was quite advanced when it first came out if i remember right.
I had a breif race at Mosport last night and set a new PB, bonus!
Mosport Park 1967
Brabham Race 1:21.114 (new)
Practice 1:21.535 (new)
GPLRank Monster -321.229 (-0.141)

Nice one, Dark, good luck in Mosport
yeah, Birmingham and Shutoko were the best tracks of that night.
Gave another go in Shutoko last night and improved a few more seconds there.
It was a fun to chase a 3:43.56, while in the first time I raced there I was very lost, still used only with games like GP2, where the car all the time tends to follow the best line. Without AI driving fast there was a big challenge for me. A 4:15 would be an great achievement on my first go, a few time ago.
Gingerman looks a fun track, but it wasn't that great, I guess. I was spinning so much at the brakings, basically only doing small changes on default setup. 1:29.45 took me happy.
To close the night, a few attempts in JT Canyon. Stopped after reaching the sub 5 minutes: 4:53
Not the worse track after learning it.

after a "1000" more laps ......
GPL Version: gpl67
Car Class: f1
Update time: Spa Francorchamps 1967, Lotus time 3:19.850 session T improvement -0.611
GPLRank score = 3.402 (change of -0.252)
Monster of GPLRank score = 249.998 (change of -0.611)
Not enough laptimes for a TotalRank

Way to go Swen!
Keep the new track times coming Otavio
I started a new job today, back into the world of IT, gulp! With one thing or another i've been out of work and out of IT for a year and a half so my GPL time will suffer for a while until i get used to it all again and work out a routine i can fit everything into.
But thats no excuse for you lot to get lazy so keep those laptimes coming!!
P.s. I don't know if you drop in here from time to time Burt but congrats on the 66 monster sir

Thanks dark,
Yes all done at last. I would have been here earlier to blow my own trumpet very loud indeed but I have been a bit tied up smoothing over a bit of gpl based marital neglect (Mrs Burt threatened to flay me alive if I didn't spend more time with her around valentines day (that's also my birthday incidentally). So after a lot of wining and dining and flowers normal hostilities have been resumed...aah domestic bliss...well it's better than hitting yourself in the face with a mallet isn't it.
So, Gpl66 monster rank +357.678 which puts me 6th behind Kanzo.
aaaaand relax.
good luck with the new job.
all the best
Burt

hi Keith,
During my 66 rank attack I have been either chasing you or neck and neck with you or looking over my shoulder at you and both of us have been stuck behind kanzo.......so far, heh heh! (don't worry kanzo I think I have reached my limits now).
Thought I would just say Hello (I've buddied you as well)
all the best
Burt

Hi burt,
Welcome aboard the madness train! Not sure how much improvement I'll be able to make with my '66 monster rank in future. It felt like I was going flat out with most of the cars when I was doing my laps. And I'm mainly spending time working on my '66 TotalRank. But I can't resist making some more attempts at the 'Ring. I just need to develop a bit more consistency there and I might be able to shave off a few seconds. Fingers crossed, and I'll be keeping a look-out for your times too in future. Good luck!
EDIT: Update time: Nürburgring 1967, Lotus 33 BRM time 8:35.620 session T improvement -16.977
Ha ha, that was quick! Thanks for the inspiration burt!
