Last night got a 3:30.60, Raoni is on my mirrors now
It is right I wasn't fast when I tried Gothnite, but didn't expect being possible go under 10 minutes.
Great times, mate

Gothica in a 67 car is mind bogglingly difficult, short shift city!! Its fine in a 65 car though

good to see the legend that is 'Darks rank attack' firing on all cylinders in it's new home.
just an update on my 66 monster effort...only 16 to go, it's taking a long time but I'm working on setups for each car as I go along (mainly humanized steve cloyds)...so far so good.
Is it just me or are the 66 benchmark times a bit uneven? I'm struggling with monza and zandvoort but spa for instance was easy even in the mclaren.
anyway I better crack on, I'm lugging the lotus43 round the ring next.
Let's see some more of those staggering times you've been knocking out recently.

.....
NO it's not you
For the 66 benchmark are mostly used the real pole times from 1966.
some changing are for Brands 67, Nordschleife and Monza are made , dunno the reason
Spa for example was wet and overcast in real life, so the benchmark is a "easy" one

Happy lapping

I had to use all the time the dust as part of track.
Tonight did some laps at the Ring, just for fun and set 8:17.33 with theLotus, far from my best time, but it was pretty fun.

Gothica does not seem to be a very popular track too, IMHO

New time: Birmingham Superprix Circuit 1989, Eagle time 1:37.571 session T
New time: El Pinar , Eagle time 1:12.977 session T
New time: Shutoko C1 , Eagle time 3:48.176 session T
New time: Rio , Eagle time 2:10.191 session T
Birmingham is a cool track. Nice flow and was really worthy to try some laps there. It is going to my favourite ones.
El Pinar is a nice track too, but it is not my style. In fact I don't like that much Vallelunga too, by the twisty section layout. Anyway, another good work from Sergio Loro.
Shutoko wasn't a track I could call fun. It was some time ago, when I was still learning the GPL. Today it becames great, looks like Spa with some walls around and a night Need For Speed scenary. The big surprise of night. What sucked, now rocks.
Rio, although a brazilian track, is maybe the weirdest track I already driven in GPL, don't know why. Whoa, it looks a scrambled Rio de Janeiro!!! and also, the chicanes are strange, specially at the end of beach.

Atm I try to get under 3:20 at Spa .....
Should stop to plant the car into some hedges or walls , splits says a 3:19 should be possible ....
13.02.2009
Update time: Spa Francorchamps 1967, Lotus time 3:20.461 session T improvement -1.412
New time: Gothica 1967, Ferrari time 23:38.136 session T
GPLRank score = 3.654 (no change)
Monster of GPLRank score = 250.609 (change of -1.412)
Not enough laptimes for a TotalRank
don't look at the Gothica time, that was the round for the screenshots in the release thread
