I love this collection as well as the updates from Remco

Would it be fine to include this in the next GPLPS installer?

4ph3x, do you want to write a little readme or should I use the text of the OT?
Remco, I like your little updates. Fine with including them?

Would be honoured if you include the updates in the GPLPS installer Bernd
Rudy Dingemans also did a reworked la Source, La Source with Trees maybe an idea to include that one as well together with Remco's?

          Suggestion for readme:

          Spa high res texture Collection
There are many texture add ons for Spa, each with it's own advantage. This collection combines the finest community textures.

          Included is work of:

          Scotty: vegetation
          Sebastien Riou: accurate houses
          GTV: Barbwire
          Seegert: stunning realistic sky
Andre Streu & Seegert: la Source
          Rudy Dingemans: la Source
Remco Hitman: real wall textures, real pitwall textures, real armco textures
Author unknown real mudbanks, lighter asphalt added

Enjoy and may the downforce be with you,

          4ph3x

Considering the history of SPA track and its importance in the 60's F1 seasons, I'm very surprised by the lack of updates realized by the GPL community. Compared to the others tracks (Monaco, Monza, etc.), SPA seems to be forgotten... :(

spa is not forgotten. far from it. there is a historically correct version being built as we speak. it may still be a few months away, but i would say from what i've seen and tested it will be well worth the wait until then. so just a little patience :)

Any news on this updated version?

I was reading a thread about making the track more narrow and such, is this the one?

have a look around here. there's a thread with screenshots of a more recent version of the "new" spa67. other than that, i think, there have not been any posts about the updated version. it's being worked on in the background with the final layout needing some tweaking and the textures being mostly just fillers, not the final ones. it's a fast track, in my book a whole load faster than the current spa, not in overall time but in percentage of full throttle - and thus more exciting. it will also be considerably better from a graphics point of view than the spa we currently have. but as i said, it is a while away, as the prime focus of the mod team was getting the sports cars and the rebuilt tracks for that done (daytona, sebring, monza1000k)...

patience. maybe hatzi can jump in here and most some current screenshots, otherwise i'll drop in later with a few. but as it is mostly his and ginetto's work so far, i'd rather one of them posts the pics :)
