As posted in the past on RSC. Unfortunately the files over there are lost, but Keith offered me to upload them here. Tnx :thumbup:

Spa high res texture Collection
There are many texture add ons for Spa, each with it's own advantage. I wanted best of both worlds so I started combining them.

For instance I like Scotty's textures, but the houses are not historically accurate. Sebastien Riou (Seb) uses more accurate houses, but the surroundings are a little outdated e.g. the real track had mudbanks. Seegert made a magnifient sky, GTV had some nice barbwire, Andre Streu & Seegert made a nice update for la Source. Finally I didn't like the darkness so lighter asphalt was used.

Unfortunately I'm not a creator only a collector, but one with a good taste So here in 2 files all textures of all these great artist in one Spa, hope you like em....Credits go to the original creators!

some of the addons for the cars could be Jackseller's (link found at the aGPLtd)

Here's a small update for Spa's infamous brick walls in Eau Rouge and at the exit of Malmedy.

I was trying out the new CS5 and decided to put it to good use and build an improved wall texture that was truly seamless.

I thought the result was worth posting so here it is

Colours matched with Grand Prix 720p!

Motion blur added for comparison only.

One more little update: guard rails!

I spent a lot of time perfecting this one and I feel it works really well.

By the way, I know this is not supposed to turn into a giant pile of tiny updates but I thought I'd just share a last one in this great thread.

yea, now get the buildings done properly, then maybe a few trees and the grass. a fitting update for the tarmac and the crash site

nice one, this, will give it a spin tonight. as i said.. spa needs some work, might as well be your job

Couldn't resist! Grand Prix in 720p is just too good a source for texture scouting :lol:

nice work, keep 'em coming. the pitlane is the most obvious target for most tracks and can be easily fixed.. but i demand a vegetation update in accordance to grand prix the movie for spa!
