I went through the entire codebase over the weekend and rewrote about 60% of it.
Got rid of a bunch or excess code, improved the login system(probably introduced some bugs) but I found several problems and fixed them.
One of the problems had to do with the setups so I am thinking Rudy should be fine now(Give it a try again Rudy).
The look isn't right yet but will work on that as time permits.
Post any problems

I had noticed an issue but i see you've fixed it already
Is it me or has the amount of people logging in gone up all of a sudden

I don't know if its a bug or not but it seems that some of the tracks have N/A in the column that tells us how many setups there are for that track, it appears to be only effecting the the newest submissions i think

It's been some time since I last visited the database, and I see many changes. But I have a problem. I found where I could read comments on the tracks. I found where I could download setups for the tracks (excellent addition, btw). But, for the life of me I can't figure out where to download the damn tracks themselves! Please illuminate me on the new procedures.

That is easy to find - for the newest track (Mosport), also for the short listing of of new tracks. What I can't find is the complete track listing.

When the Track Database homepage appears, just click on the menu heading "Search" - ignore the menu entries "Track Search" and "Setup Search" which appear underneath. When you do this, the alphabet buttons will appear and you'll be able to display whichever tracks you want.
Thank you so much. That's exactly what I was seeking, (And I'd never have found it on my own.)

Happy New Year All,
am having difficulty downloading the Targa Florio track over at the GPL Alternative Track Database. When I click on "Get Track", I get the two page "GPL Times" "Special Targa Florio Release Edition".
The download counter increments (I have done this over ten times ;-) , with FireFox, FireFox adblock disabled, and IE8, registered as a user (although that has not been necessary before..) and no download ever starts. Have clicked on every link I can find in the two pages. Have the 1.3 update, the GEM2+ update, Lee's trainer, the 206S skin, the hi-res movie...
but alas, no track.
can someone post a link that takes me directly to the download, or explain what I am doing wrong?
Best Regards,
Jerry

Go to page 2 and click on the larger photo on the left of the 5 smaller photo's. The photo on the other side will take you to the page to get the hi and lo res add ons. I just tried it and it works OK for me.

The link for Buenos Aires 67 gets me a "file not found"message. (Like I need another track, I just downloaded about two dozen to add to the 300 or so which I can scarcely find time to enjoy.)
