Lura04 v3 update now ready - EDIT 28.11.2018: v3.1 - 26.01.2020 update to v3.1a - see below

Still better graphics and the groove are added, this resulting way more fun to drive especially if you don't know the track well. This is the first track using the 66-mod specific default setups for all the chassis. 67s and 69s added too, and it contain 30 different default setups! The 65-setups must manually be pasted to your player folder. Announce and crowd sounds to the track is now implemented.

Lura 2004 add on track for Grand Prix Legends. V3 update 11.01.2008

Real public roads/fantasy racetrack, Sandnes near Stavanger, Norway.

Introduction:
=========
The track was released 2004 as a mix of a part of the real Rally Stavanger SS1/5/9-circuit 250 meters (Now released as an own track), a motorway including the enter and the exit, the old highway and the streets beside the Kvadrat Store (was the biggest store in Scandinavian). This is a very narrow track; some places only one lane in the direction. It's real roads! The track layout is special for GPL. These road junctions are well known by most people in the region. It's an expansive trade and shopping area.

Length 4.15 km. Max speed more than 280 km/h and some tight corners is a challenge to set up. Driving smooth is necessary at the real road cambers and the blind/curved braking zones. Pit lane is in the street and very narrow to the race line!

-One of the hardest tracks in GPL. If you think the GPL Lura04 is narrow, I can tell you the rest of the little rally circuit is many times narrower!

*Real modeling of camber and very accurate layout, the divagation depends most of the simplifying for the track sections.
*66 and 69-mod specific track.ini files.
*66 and 69-mod specific program covers and news pictures included (my own temporary).
*Default specific setups included for the 66, 67 and 69-mod (65-mod setups you must download and copy to your player folder).
*Announce and Crowd sounds (original from the rally 2007).

Lura04 new update v3.1 released

V3 had missing installer. Now it has coming ten years of new mods, where need some files. Why not update the track (to 2018-standard)? Track-making/improving is very interesting . Now I did a little fix before new package (for this old project) .
Horizon improved, default setups for most mods (115 chassis driven and individually adjusted). Camera file edited. Some new mod-specific program covers.

Stunning work Björn! Really impressed. Did a few sight seeing laps, it's tight until you hit the highway and get's tight again. Very challenging track for sure, and it looks very realistic.

Thanks Bjørn! This track is one of the most challenging in the whole of the TotalRank, due to the very narrow sections. A driver has to be very neat, accurate and restrained to get a fast, tidy lap.

I always find Scandinavian circuits tougher than most. I can start off in Norway, I can get into Sweden, but I hardly ever get to the Finnish!
