Hi Gentlemans !

Sorry for off topic, but i have made a pdf file for all known (on my side) key-functions on GPL. I can upload the files in german and english and also as MS-Word files. Maybe we can complete the list i beginning and correct the failures.

Please give me a signal for interets.

Hi all !

O.K., here is it.  

The original-files are made Windows-Word as *.doc files in german. With the help from a friend (James Madden, UK), he made the english-translation, i make a second variante as a *.doc-file.  Final both files are converted to *.pdf.

The listed commands are hopefully complete and without mistakes. Please check them. Maybe we can make it better.

Nicely done. Would you consider expanding it future to include other programs like Pribluda?

Hi DM !

Implement Pribluda-keys in the list of Key-commands is a nice idea.    But Pribluda will not working on my system (i only running in 3DfX-mode with Voodoo5500), so i can not do this, while pribluda is not installed.    But other racers use Pribluda and can do this to complete the list with a separat section for the Pribluda commands.

Next idea is to complete the list with all keyfunctions for keyboard-steering-users from some racers they use a proper steering-methode. My list (i think the listed keys are hardcoded in the exe) can help to see the base key-functions to protect keyboard-steering-users from some conflicts.

I hope the list will growing to inform all users for the relevant keys in all aspects. I only have done the base.

I would add some chat commands for Multiplayer.

The most important one !SHUTDOWN if you have joined via PASSWORD/BOSSPASSWORD (or was it BOSSPASSWORD/PASSWORD ???)

Thanks for the nice words.  

I am a noob in multiplayer functions, so i let this commandos out.

Please understand my basic-list only as a first step to grow and hopefully some day complete with all specials. Sorry for the missing specials, but this must done by some other user (Pribluda/key-steering/Multiplayer commands/Makros for chatting/ etc. pp). Feel free for adding the list.

I make the list in WORD and as PDF for the frist concept in german, and "with a little help from a friend"    the translation to english, so everyone can grow the listing with the own wisdom for all users in future.

thx for the lists.

One little addition, the "V"-Key is not only functional while watching replays.
In game function is
"V" for switching the view to the next car ahead
"Shift"+"V" for switching back to your own car

P.S.: It is a very usefull command in online-races for all racers they can not use Pribluda.

You can also do this on the track while sitting in your car but only if your car is stationary.  So you can do it in the pit stall or if you go off the track far enough that you don't get the auto boot-off after 30 seconds.

Yes, i know the function of shift+v while sitting in a staying car.  

I use it often in online-races to check my pit-out without dangerous for other drivers. I can not run Pribluda here (3dfx-graphic), so it is the only way to save my pit-out's.

I will add it on the list. A new variante with *.doc and *.pdf will uploading after adding this. It take some days, i make it on work, there are the relevant programms (MS-Word and PDF-Converter). I will ask my team-mate James (UK) for translation, so i can make it in english too.

Hi all !

New variantes of the key_assaignments are in the work. There are only little adding (see Oskar's and  Bob's posts above) and some minor corrections.

Today i send it to check and translate to my friend James.

I hope i can upload the v2 in some days in a single zip with the complete 4 single files (german and english in MS-Word and PDF) as i do before.

EDIT: Translation-checking is done. Thanks to James Robinson (Madden). I will upload the files in a new post as v2 (see next post). Only minor adjustments (see posts above) where in the new variante.

Thank you for your post.

The base-work for the list i do some years ago for using myself.

Now, i think all GPL-driver can have a chance to learn a bit of the key-assignments for more fun and /or control on GPL. I am glad it helps anyone.  

I league-member give me some further hints for the shift+v and the v camera-movement: ctrl+v is the "home"-key, back to the own cockpit.  

I hope the list will growing. All tips are welcome. I will update the list from time to time.
