There are two dat's to get and three versions to race I'll let Fortine explain.
Track info
There are 2 tracks, SpCC ( SportsCarCircuit ) And StCC ( StockCarCircuit ).
SpCC :
1) Inner loop leading to "Masta Kink". If you use the outer loop, you must come to a full stop before reaching the main course or you will receive a stop & go penalty.
2) There are two pit entrances. ( This came about during track development, and allows for some diversity, but to use the kink entrance as the main entrance will require new pit lp's and track ini tweaking. ) The pit entrance for each course is from the outer loop. If you use the kink entrance to the pits, there is a 30 second penalty. If you cut across the grass that separates the main pit road from the kink entrance, you will receive a 30 second penalty. ( If the ai are forced onto pit road at the kink entrance, they don't receive a penalty, but they usually pit anyway. Sometimes they don't pit, and they exceed the pit road speed and are not penalized. That's life. )
3) If you merge from pit road to the racing surface before clearing the Yellow Merge Line, there's a stop & go penalty.
StCC :
1) Use the "Bypass" to the "Truck Kink", i.e. the outer loop.
2) Due to the location of the track centerline caused by the dual circuit, the ai don't follow the raceline ( when using the Bypass ) like they normally would.

There is a third "version", the Special Edition. It includes separate versions of pta "track.ini, fast.pta.sim, Race SE P & T setups, and trklogos", so the RedlineGTP and AD67 mods ( or any others ) that use the pta.exe physics will drive differently than a stock pta install. ( See additional information in the Special Edition folder. )
