yea, i think he did one for silverstone as well. but the verdict on that was not that good, especially since the horizon was rather hilly whereas silverstone is not exactly in an alpine setting, but rather flat. so i didn't get it - i think. i can check though, if i have any of his other updates around.

Thanks for the updates... just shows that the GPL community lives on as strong as ever. It's been so refreshing coming on here and finding such a great group of people all happy and more than willing to offer any help they can.

Over a year later...  I've found a file in my HD called 'monza addons since June 18, 2003' that adds a few more things that were on the RSC thread - it changes the Coca Cola billboard at Lesmo 1 to a Shell billboard (seen here at 2:12).



I remember when I found that footage on VHS video in 2003 and posted a bad digital photo of the TV screen on RSC, cos there were hardly any photo's around of the Lesmo 1/2 area on the net back then, and Youtube didn't exist! The files also add the BOSCH and CYNAR billboards to the edge of the banking that rounds the outside of the Parabolica (you won't see in car unless you turn around on the main straight).

It also adds the SUPERMOTOROIL wording onto the bottom of the huge Agip billboard on the RH side of the S/F straight (seen  - very blurred - at 1.44 on the link above).  Made by...me!  The only time i've ever ever done any modding for anything!  It's not very good either, but I did edit the mip in MS Paint!  My 15 minutes of fame lol.

I cleaned my "Monza add-ons" folder, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to post it because of some outdated files that may create some mess if used the wrong way.

Anyway, the folder is a bit heavy : 115Mo

Guys...

First off many thanks to all involved for the updates.

Wondering though if anybody could re-upload the following file posted by sky in post #6:

tr monza - addon textures very nice addon for Monza last files (seegert) .zip

I`ve managed to download all the others but this one just sits there telling me the download has started but it never gets to the end...

Really looking forward to trying these updates out.

I`ve managed to download the file using another browser.

Funny... I`ve never had that problem with Chrome before...

Anyway, I hope the updates are all ok to work with eachother.
