OK, with RSC down and me having used your site for much too long without donating, I made a donation this evening!
Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks for the reminder Keith.
The small amount I've donated is not really indicative of how much I appreciate your efforts. Thanks Bill and Keith.

Might I suggest that you move the "Make a Donation" button up into the right-hand side of the blue SRMZ banner at the top of the page?
I didn't even see that thing down there, hiding next to the "what's this and why would I care?" SimRacingLinks graphic...

I have just received a lovely PM:
Gosh it's nice to receive a PM like that but in reality the forum is made up of the members and the admin staff are little more than helpers.
The guy that a lot of people forget about is Bill, without his support there wouldn't be all the hosted stuff there is here SRMZ, at GPLRepository, the aGPLtd and of course all of Speedgeezers. Bill hosts all these sites on his server at his own expense. That is of course if there are no donations and recently he has had to shoulder the cost by himself.
So, if you feel up to it go to the bottom of the page and use the yellow "Make a Donation" button.
Many Thanks

Hello keith
Probably don`t remember me..its be a LONG time since i was last here.
I gave up racing and hadn't been online for a few years now (the tedium of life kept getting in the way) so i quit.
Thankfully thats all behind me now and its been great going to all the favourite racing sites again.I was in for a big shock when i went to RSC..what the Hell has happened to that site.!!
It used to be the mother lode but now its a pale shadow of its self..that is a real shame.
I was wondering if this site had gone the same sad way but thankfully their is still the welcoming friendly atmosphere, the love of racing, and the general ease which makes this site such a pleasure to visit.
I don`t know how you keep the same high standards year after year but i am damn glad they are dedicated people like you who do.

Many thanks to all who work and all who contribute - and expecially to all who do both.
I am not able to do much in the way of contributions but this topic update has nudged me to contribute - I would echo the suggestions by others that the "Donate" button should be made more evident and if possible put on the TOP of the page.
In addition, could you put a sort of banner across the top of the page with a bar graph showing the monthly cost, what has been contributed and what is needed in addition?
We all tend to think that all 'on the web' is for free and need to have our memory jogged from time to time.
