Just a note to remind anyone that would like to support this forum, The GPL Repository, The Alternative GPL Track Database and support us to support all the major large downloads we have hosted (ie all the recent mods) would be greatfully accepted.

There is a button at the bottom of most pages with "Make a Donation".
All donations will go to Bill Cooper to help amortize some of the server costs and any amount will be greatfully appreciated.

Thank you :yinyang:

Where is this located?  I've looked at the main page of the forum and the Track Database.

To give you guys that have donated and anyone who might consider donating an idea of what costs there are and where/how your money is spent:

Bill said:

About a month ago one of the BCSims servers was compromised and as a result the bandwidth was exceeded not to mention the machine had to be redone.
Total cost $560 in bandwidth charges and $230 in hardware and reload costs for a total cost of $790.
Any help from those that would like to help with this would be greatly appreciated.
There is a Make a Donation button at the bottom of the page to use.
Thanks to all
Bill has also bought a new server to further improve the speed and support available to the GPL community.  ;)

Thought you guys might like to read some figures:

Since Feb 2006 "the Alternative GPL Track Database / SimRacing Mirror Zone / GPL Repository"  trio have had over

32,008,407 hits

and users have downloaded over

5,159,900,228 Kbytes = 4920.86 Gigabytes = 4.81 Terrabytes

That, is a heck of a lot of bytes! That's more than 410 Gigabytes/month

Many thanks Bill
