Number of downloads: 313Last year I downloaded a GPL track called Bonchan, it's a working track that looks and drives well but no AI. I can find nothing about it in search (other than a track for Gene Rally), either here at the MZ or at RSC. Does anyone else have it? I think it's by Strava (alta ego of Jim Belshawe). It hasn't had any of the pre release razamataz of other tracks and I can't remember where I found it. It just seems strange that there is NO mention of it anywhere.

      Sorry Alan,

Never heard of it before. Did a search at RSC couldn't find anything apart from the Gene Rally stuff you must have seen. It'd be interesting to try out.

(Also of interest to see the title of the track using the Papyrus font - same as used in my avatar  )

          Thanks FWD,
I now have Bouton Run a track I have ignored until now. Bonchan is entirely different.

Have a look at his others on here, might be called something else (if the AI has been added) :)

You can see all of his tracks HERE and none of the track maps match.

Bonchan is a track I made back in January 2004.
It was to be the "home" track for an FV League I was in at the time.
Unfortunately the "FV" part of the league died before we had a chance to hold any races at Bonchan :(

But since I only released the track to league members I am quite curious as to where you found the track Alan

I do have 67F1 and 67FV AI for it.

I guess I should package it up and release it to the general public.

                    OK, here ya go.
It's not set up with the installer.
So you will need to create the track folder.
                    Extract the zip to it.
                    And edit 67season.ini
The season entry is in a .txt file in the zip.

                    Bonchan.zip
                    Bonchan_FV_AI.zip

And here is some 67F1 AI. I think. Don't have time to test it ATM.

                      Oh, I just noticed something.
Something I had completely forgotten about.
There is a bonchan_rain.3do in the zip.
If you rename it to bonchan.3do you will have a rainy day.
Just rename it back to switch to a dry day.

There are also several rain mips called rain1.mip , rain1_alt1.mip etc.
                      The rain 3do uses "rain1.mip"
You can rename them back & forth to try out different rain effects.
This was some of my preliminary testing for a possible rainy version of Westwood.

Due to overwhelming public demand

                          Number of downloads: 99

And the rain stuff in a seperate zip:
