Hey Kurt great stuff with this course of yours as it carries a smooth flow. When I race GTP by myself I've separated the cars so like just now I had a dozen of the Mazdas on the course and what a blast hell we were even 3 & 4 wide on the turns .. truly wicked!!

And thanks for the heads up on Jen Valley

      Hey Kurt

Fun track!! Looking foward to some objects;I have to race with raceline on for brake references. Good racing now but
will get better with some ai tweaking.

I was able to get ai starting grid to space out by changing "starting grid stall_0,stall_1,etc." by alternating
3.0 and -3.0 for entire grid (no more rubbin' before racin').
I made a new raceline for myself to help me learn and be able to race the track. The ai seem to be checking up, so I made
this the race.lp also and it helped smooth them out. They're much racier now. They're pitting at lap 20-22 (way to early for fuel
by my car's reading),and then continue re-pitting because of pit violations. It seems they're following some guideline that the
track ini numbers don't jive with. I get penalized too,for pit entry/exit and speed;I've tried following ai in and use they're speed
and get penalized, but if I just use pit speed early,I'm ok on speed.

A few comments on the track. I offer this only as a what if,not a criticism.
I would hope you could make a new pit entry lane that starts on the last straight. The current pit entry is in the racing line, and
the last corner is a little tight and it's already a challenge to keep your speed up(and the ai speed). There is something (like a
groove or curb not seen) at pit entry. The ai turn in to the pits and then run into the end of the pit wall (or just miss inside or
outside) . I thought they were coming in too hot, but one time I was following close and you can feel it push(pull?) your car.
There are more than a few challenges to maintain good speed and control on this track. I really like the first turn(s) with the big
sweep, many options for a raceline,it's great. Good little short straight to the righthander, lots of options to transition from sweeper to
esses. Both sections are great passing areas. But(there's always a but  ),I don't like that "bump"(really a pavement transition)
before the esses. It makes it challenging to brake for the esses and next to impossible to actually race into the esses. The
first left into the esses is for me of such a down angle and off camber that I have to take as a hairpin;this combined with the previous
"bump" makes for a long non-racing section. Once you straighten out after the hairpin, you can "gas it" with reserve, but the bump at
the crest prohibits too aggressive racing with the ai (online  probably ok because real players react in like manner) because they don't
really react to it and it doesn't seem to make them swing wide. The last corner (beyond the pit conflict) is a little tight to promote
overtaking. If that double apex at pit entry was smoothed or moved to the left,or a runout (widening of the racing surface at turn exit)
was added, a 2 wide turn exit would help passing on the front straight.
Challenges aside,I would still race this circuit regularly if the pit problems could be fixed.

Thanks for the track Kurt; good luck with this and hopefully future endeavors.

      hey

The first time I came into the pits at this track,I pulled off the racing surface and immediately did 3 donuts. Well
I didn't think I had come in that hot;I alibied to myself this is a really slick piece of asphalt (it almost felt like a grass
slide). I looked around to see if anyone saw me,seems not, I righted myself and continued in. The next time you can
bet I was really soft pedalling it.
Well, I was just getting some more track time and looking for that elusive position to enter/exit the pits,to avoid
the dreaded :"YOU DID NOT EXIT (ENTER) THE PITS SAFELY". So I was racing the ai until they started to pit and
I would follow them in, hoping I could find that curb/ridge thingy that made them hit the pit wall. Since noone else
was around,I had the sound up, and as I hit that ridge I could hear what sounded like grass. As it happens, that
whole area at the entry to pit road is grass. I'm not saying I feel vindicated,but... :P
You can enter safely if you slide along the yellow line entering just inside the pit wall. There seems to be no way to
      get out "safely".

      Still trundling on,

          Hey all

            Anybody else driving this track?

I'm having a blast with this track. I ran a 67 lap race and ran five 50.xx laps,
          lap 32,37,50,55,61 and 66.
The ai are kind of pounding me,9 times either run into or run over. I'm trying to
find a raceline where they'll run fast, but just off a path I can run to stay out of
there way at their aggressive areas. The top guys are running 51.9-52.5 for the whole
stint. Except for a couple of backmarkers, the rear of the field still run high 52's
to mid 53's at 100%. I can't wait for a pits fix to really get a long run in.

            Looking forward to some updates,
Thanks for your work Kurt,  :clap2:
