I've been tearing apart my 69X install customizing paint jobs/names/photos/etc but there's one thing I just cannot figure out.  Where is the definition that points a driver to a specific car type (directory c00 to c44) for a specific race?  In other words, how does GPL decide which car version (high wing, low wing, no wing) a driver uses for an individual track?  I've poured through as many config files as I can find but can't lock this one down.  Is it defined in a *.dat somewhere?  Also, it appears the high wings are the default for tracks not defined in the original GPL, is that correct?  I want to run only high wings and am trying to figure out the best way to enforce that limitation.

Hi.
The AI use a different car as the season progressed. The drvc69.ini has entry for each driver graphics = xx that correspond to the graphic selection the player has for each chassis.

The tracks used in the 1969 season will have a track specific drvc69.ini that will override the one in the gpl folder.

If you check the drvc69.ini for Brands Hatch ( brands67 ) or Montjuic Park ( montjc69 ) all the cars use the higher wings as they did in reality before they were banned at Monaco.

You can use the drvc69.ini from those track at at other tracks to have the same line up and wing configuration.
