Fascinating video, thanks for posting!

Awesome to finally see footage from the 1921 race too. A few years ago, I put many many months of research into an article on that first race weekend at AVUS. I had to go into various archives and transcribe/translate several dozen pages from contemporary newspapers, magazines etc., which were mainly written in old German Frakturschrift.

In the end I compiled all the translated texts together and put it in an article along with photos of every entrant in every race. It was a really fun project:
