Hi Guys,
Can someone advise what I am doing wrong please.
Thanks to Jani's great GPL Weekly site I was recently prompted to download the GT cars for the first time - great fun I must say. I thought I would practice the tracks on the GPLRank site for these cars so download Brands Hatch 1967, Daytona Road Course etc. and had a 1 lap blast on each just to register a time (except Targa Florio which wont load but that's another problem). I uploaded my PlaxSC.ini but none of my times are accepted - I just get the following...
GPL Version: gplxS
Car Class: C)
No handicaps have been affected by this laptimes upload.
So what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave.
There have been two sports/GT car mods released. The second, updated version is called the Sports/GT Extra mod, and it includes some updates to the car physics, and also has the Alfa-Romeo T33 car. Which one have you installed? Judging from the "plaxsc.ini" filename, I would guess it's the newer mod. If that's the case, then the GPLRank website hasn't been updated to cater for the mod, and so unfortunately you won't be able to record your times there. You can install the old and new mods side-by-side if you wish, and that would allow you to save your laptimes to the GPLRank site. Otherwise you can just use Jani's site to keep track of your times.

Saiph,
I have the T33 so must be the newer mod. Not a big issue as I have my own Excel spreadsheet that mimics what GPLRank would do. So glad this forum exists for quick answers to simple questions from us GPL returnees.
