Yeah i have used this mod and its pretty fun.
The mod is pretty much like if ISI made le mans for rfactor without using any sort of licensing.
but if you don't mind all the cars looking the same its enjoyable
The cars have break fade like the GPL 1955 mod for that bit of realism

Def. use the Le Grand circuit  (1967 Le Mans Track)

They do have a 1967 mod, but personally I don't like how all the cars are the same with different physics and liveries

all in all i give it a 8/10

Very good mod, has many different spec, and with different power & handling, such as the 0.75 spec is more casual and slow, good for a relax drive.

Also 3d model is very well made, and actually not every car use exactly same 3d model, some spec has distinct bodywork and windscreen.

Thanks! Yeah I noticed that :) Honestly, they are pretty much all very realistic, only the Porsche is off. Wish they did the Lancia too :(

Feedback on sounds? They are a very important part of the experience for me. I know, "why all the questions?" :D well I do not own rF2, I am considering purchasing it just for this mod

Sound is ok (same as RF1). The best thing about RF2 is FFB(lots details) and physical tyre(can really feel the rubber), has very good chassis flex simulation as well. Also Jim's isle of man is in RF2 now, and many historical formula cars from 60 to 80.

I did a little test driving while the mod was being developed. The physics for this mod (and for the 67 Le Mans mod as well) are incredibly thorough and well done. The developers researched the sh*t out of everything for these mods, and put in a mind-boggling amount of time and attention. They weren't interested in trying to duplicate the bodies, more suggesting the differences and emphasizing the feel. BTW I've never regretted a penny or a second spent on rF2. I hope you enjoy it too.
