Guess what mod. just got installed? GTP SWEET Well last night was my first league race for the year in F1C for 2005 F1 season in which I came 4th in my Ferrari (even having to replace my nose as some wanker in a McLaren desided to shortcut across it) I had the need for speed. My fix was to install this much hyped GTP mod. I've alot of learning ahead of me now! And there are some great add-on cars here. https://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=191724 https://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=194623 https://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=194090 https://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=193123 Shame there isn't a Porsche 962 model in the set but there are a few Toyota based 962 skins in the links above. It was after I installed this mod that I discovered I needed a new monitor as I couldn't see the track at night even at full brightness/contrast The night-time track racing is fantastic at night with the lights out and turning the volume control up to 11. Don't know what the neighbours think with all this noise.......well they are a couple of miles away --------------------

...Of course I have only rumors to go on since I deleted the GTP v1.0 install as requested by Redline, but I understand it is absolutely fabulous, dahling... ...And I am d/l'ing the carskins linked above (and a big Thank You to Walt and 4WhlDft); there seems to be two Gulf paintjobs, one by Magic and one by Nunzio's Uncle, so I'll just have to try them both... ...When Redline releases their next modified mod, that is... --------------------

No worries mate; I've got Nunzio's Uncles version as he does darn good work but he also lets you know it too! I've got to install some more tracks into my uninstalled GTP ! I've also got 4 more new skins(sweet), I'll install and check them out and toss up a link after a couple screens. Hey FourWheelDrift ! Yesterday you posted this " It was after I installed this mod that I discovered I needed a new monitor as I couldn't see the track at night even at full brightness/contrast ". Well have you played with this yet? Options when you start the launcher! Oh yes I've played with the gamma controls, the ones in the game options work best for me but I do need a new monitor it just doesn't go as bright as it used to. Again something I need to do but never get round to doing until it annoys Just noticed your NR2003 driver name of "Wally Gator"....Are you the fastest in the swamp?" Only I didn't think Watkins Glen was that wet Wally Gator is a swinging alligator in the swamp. He's the greatest perculator when he really starts to romp. There has never been a greater operator in the swamp. See ya later, Wally Gator. This post has been edited by FourWheelDrift: Feb 27 2005, 04:34 PM --------------------

That's who I go with in my F1C league racing but it's a nic name given to me in the 60's when Wally-Gator the cartoon was popular. But I've been teaching myself more about this D3PP and giving myself different names for the "Custom Personality List" Cheers Attached thumbnail(s) -------------------- ---------------------------

...Only I didn't think Watkins Glen was that wet I frequented Watkins Glen from '72 - '81 steadily (plus '68), for GP, Can-Am, F5000, Trans Am, and some SCCA...And every GP but one was cold & wet...WG is at the top of a mountain, and the GP was always the first weekend in October...Central NYS is cold & wet that time of year... ...But Quattro is from Ontario... --------------------

Hi there mate I got to race a couple of times at The Glen back in my teens when racing against some topnotch talent with my twin 125cc 6speed kart still finishing in the top 5 was a thrill there. My biggest thrill was testing a friends 76Ralt I think it was a RT1 my memory fails me at times but this was fun as it was raining at the time. But I visit Glen often as like Mosport it holds alot of racing history.
