Hi folks,
I got a company to do an export for me from archive.org of every file the internet archive held for any of the old RSC forums, this includes attachments.
As an example they got me about 5000 threads from when the forum was at forum.rscnet_org but only 106 attachments.
forum.racesimcentral_com 20,000+ threads, 503 attachments.
Haven't yet finished sorting, but there's also some from legends.sports-gaming.com and legendscentral_com
I know it's been many years, but was there anything specific that was from any of the old GPL forums that the community never recovered that I can look for? My intention is to try to get the files back on RSC in archive form, but in the meantime I'd be happy to look for something.

Things like how to drive and setup cars, theories about it all, reports by editors and creators about what they are doing, a track development thread from back when tracks went from alpha release...stuff that highlights what was happening back then.
What is also fun is seeing there are lots of GPLers still here that were posting and contributing on forums back then.

Did the software developers who wrote the patches and mods create any documentation about how to modify the GPL code? This could be useful for future developers who want to upgrade/replace the GPL physics engine and tire model.

IMHO this info should be reserved to the GPL mod team, as some ppl might not be able to deal with it in a moral/ethic way.

Thanks for the replies folks. As far as I'm aware there wasn't ever any guide and people just figured things out for themselves.
