All of these updates to this track were inspired by the monza67 track project.  There are some unique objects/textures that I was unable to make or position correctly.  This is because I did not have the ability to change or add them to the way the basic track was constructed - different from the monza67 track.  These updates are not definitive, as they most certainly can be improved.

Thanks for allowing use of these updates from your previous work, Ginetto.
Most textures are from Thomas Lächele or derived from them.
Some textures are from Duncan's most recent updates.
Thanks to Denis for his help in testing these updates, for providing feedback and for making better textures for some of the adverts... and also for the files in the low-res_textures_monza10k sub-folder.

There is a Lo-FB version of monza10k.3do in a sub-folder, if needed for slower computers.

A side note: The monza10k track was only used for the '55, '56, '60 and '61 F1 races.  So, here the representation of it is for the 1966 Grand Prix movie where it was used for the Italian GP.  In actuality the '66 Italian GP was held on the standard Monza circuit.

There is a sub-folder with the pit people as invisible srb files.  Use these if you find that the "movie people" crowd the pit lane too much.  Posted Image

Please drop these files in an already Installed Track folder.  This archive DOES NOT contain any track, driver or record ini files.

ENJOY !!!

NOTE:  Now includes Ascari curve armco update.

There's a brutal CTD if you're looking to the right when you're at the middle of the speed ring's last curve...
Not good because it's often a place where you overtake with suction and you need to take a look at the one next to it...
That doesn't happen with the original Thomas update...

Forget all what I said, in my case I just need to use the Low-Fb 3do and it works perfectly... :whistling:
Sincerely sorry... :punish:

Meanwhile, some little adjustments.

This is a small update that removes some of the single armco on the right hand side of the Ascari curve.  It also makes the single armco  leading in from the Pirelli circuit yellow in color.

This update is inspired by the post of "bingo" previously in this thread - https://srmz.racesimcentral.net/inde...140#entry151197
Look at his video evidence and read his remarks.

Thanks to ginetto for removing the collision where the armco textures were deleted in the Ascari curve area.

Also included is a replacement of the bright single armco section with dark single armco where the Junior circuit joins the GP circuit.
Finally, there is a fix to remove the collision where the double armco textures where deleted at the inside of the Parabolica exit.

MUST HAVE the updates in Post #1 installed to use this.
NOTE: These updates are now included in the main archive in Post #1.

Cool.  Always appreciate these little goodies.

(I have to keep logs in tracks folders to remind me what I've installed where, lol.)

Hello everybody. I did a test again with the update of the graphics but the track doesn't work at all. I even installed monza10k from scratch placing only the files of this post, but it doesn't work, any idea?. Is there any installation step to be done before installing the new graphics?

The horizon/sky in the update archive at Post #1 are type7 1024x1024 res.  This requires the use of the v2 rasterizers.

"... the sky from monza 67"

Those files are in the update in Post #1 here.

Me: "All of these updates to this track were inspired by the monza67 track project." and "Thanks for allowing use of these updates from your previous work, Ginetto."
